I know why igbos want to assimilate Ikwere. The IPOB aim is to get access to the sea through any south south state acquisition. That is why they are desperate to include south south in their Biafla project. They realise that getting an independent country that is small dot in the map and without access to the sea where they can import all junks and sell hard drugs will be suicidal. Now you understand why they want to assimilate any tribe that will give them access to the sea.

You mean a Professor wrote this? God did not put any Ikwerre in South/South, there was nothing called South/South 30 years ago. South/South is nothing but a geopolitical zone, the constitution does not even recognise it.

Ikwerres are a small minority found in just 3 or 4 LGA's, and are insignificant in the wider scheme of things. If they like, they can blame to be a distinct ethnic group that descended from the Chinese, to each their own. For those such as Chibuike Amaechi, Duncan Okechukwu (Duncan Mighty), Tonto Dike, Obi Wali, Chukwuemeka Ejekwu(Sabinus) who have all publicly embraced their Igboness, we embrace with open arms.
