if the roads have to be closed for commuters just because U as a president are plying it, Then this signifies massive failure. it means U have no trust in ur own country security, infrastructure & the people u govern. U.k prime minister, Queen Elizabeth, Obama, Trump, Biden all of them use same road with their own people in their own country without closing anything when travelling around most of the time. It's only blacks ESPECIALLY Nigerians have this mentality of closing road for President

Some of you people are ignorant of the workings of high level government. He might be the most powerful person in the country but there are people he answers to or does what they say. Just like a man can be the head of a family but in the house madam runs the house and the Mai guard is the one that determines whether you can enter the compound or not.

Tinubu can tell you “come and see me” and genuinely want to see you and for the duration of his presidency you are not able to see him because the gatekeepers deny you access. There are ministers that will never see a president for a one on one private meeting throughout his tenure, whose memos will never get read by the president because the gatekeepers have blocked it.

You may be president but you do as you are told on certain matters. If You say you want to go somewhere and you only need 5 DSS to follow you, they will tell you sorry you need 30 and unless the figure is 30, you are going nowhere and there is nothing you can do as president. A president can’t just visit even his own friend, he will have to inform DSS who will send an advanced party to scan your property for bombs etc.

Even Obama had to fight to keep his famous blackberry phone. As president they wanted to confisticate it from him.

Bottom line you may be president but you are government property and on certain matters you do as you are told.
