Convicted billionaire kidnapper Evans opts for plea bargain

The convicted billionaire kidnap kingpin, Chukwudumeme Onwuamadike, alias Evans facing attempted murder has approached the Lagos State High Court, in Ikeja for settlement.

Evans alongside his co-defendant Joseph Emeka, facing murder, and attempted kidnap has opted for the option of a plea bargain.

The state prosecution counsel, Mr. Yusuf Sule, on Thursday, informed the court about the plea bargain option after the case was called for the re-arraignment before Justice Adenike Coker.

Evans and his co-defendant are to be re-arraigned on an amended five-counts bordering on murder, attempt to murder, and conspiracy to commit felony to wit: kidnapping and attempt to murder.

Sule informed the court that the case was for re-arraignment but he was aware the defendant had applied for a plea bargain.

The prosecutor, however, said that the plea bargain terms were being considered by the Attorney-General of Lagos State, Mr Lawal Pedro (SAN).

Wait o.so them never conclude on this Evans Case since all this years despite all the media sensationalism surrounding his dastardly acts.now he is even looking Like a saint compared to all the kidnapping and killing going on around.

He no be just kidnapper; he be murderer too. Even though na only kidnapping dem convict am for, him real crimes dey far worse. As billionaire, he dey probably enjoy luxury for prison. He never show any remorse to him victims' families, nor help government identify other criminal elements wey still Dey for our roads.

The plea bargain wey he dey negotiate for himself, him no give am to him victims. He dey kill dem just coz dem no fit pay ransom.

E clear say he still dey for news, dey hurt him victims' families. Him billions still dey advocate for am from prison. Yet for Bible, Proverbs 24:24 talk say, 'Whoever says to the guilty, "You are innocent," will be cursed by peoples and denounced by nations.' To dis guilty murderer and kidnapper, dem don give plenty leniency, and those wey dey advocate for am go dey cursed by di victims of him crime and di victims of di criminals wey he inspire.

Story. Make dem sentence him to 15 years with hard labour and without option of fine. I'm very sure this stupid Evans might have killed some of those he abducted and he wants plea bargaining so he can continue the business of kidnappings.

Even punch has bastardized the word 'billionaire'.

Billonaire is at least 1 billion dollars in cash or asset. That's more than 1 trillion naira.

Evans has been in prison for many years before Wadume, another notorious kidnapper was jailed for 2 years and he has been freed.

I don't support Evans but judicial bandits that gave Wadume only 2 years have given Evans audacity.

Evans was arrested in 2017 and has spent 7 years in jail. Wadume was arrested in 2019 and is now free.
