Waste of resources. No Tourist will visit Anambra. When you visit IPOB will kidnap you, ESN might kill you and if you escape these two terrorist groups, you won't escape UGM. UGM will just cannibalise you.

Stay away from that side if you value your life

Something interesting to me in these Anambra projects is that they are handled by Nigerian owned companies, to high standards and working within the time frame.

This young Architect sounds brilliant!

I was smiling ear-to-ear when I watched the Ekwulobia fly over project!

I'm pained when I see foreigners cutting ribbons in projects that could have been handled locally, excellently.

Anambra to the world kiss kiss
This looks like a huge scam. I used to rate Soludo, but now I can see that him be like those Nigerian profs wey no sabi anything.

Why name it Solution fun city? The next governor may not take it seriously as it only project Soludo. He should have used a generic name.

As an indigene of Anambra, Soludo is my governor but he is not working and is instead heavily invested in propaganda and eye-service.

He just starts projects that progresses at such a slow speed that to all intents and purposes, his projects should be considered abandoned and that includes this so-called fun city which is being built in a relatively small patch of land of may be 2 or 3 acres only in Awka.

Rubbish and sand litter the streets and the roads where they exist, are riddled with potholes. Parts of the capital Awka still look like village dirt roads around Okpuno axis. Which type of tourism is he preparing for?

Soon as I saw to attract 5million tourists annually, knew this would be one of those phantom projects many governors in Nigeria embark on,attach superfluous claims to and never ever finish till they leave office.

Exactly how did he think of tourism before security, like even the indigenes are not safe talk more of expecting ppl to travel to a place where its either your kidnapped or killed straight. What sort of tourism will survive there when business are also suffering from insecurity .To even think states with 70% indigenes should be easy to secure since ppl in most communities can identify outsiders if he seeks the help of community leaders but no he wants to secure his own loot from these projects while communities are burning

Can you compare Soludo’s performance within a short period to that Agulu scammer’s performance as a governor for 8 years.

Enemies of progress just want to force a failure on us because of their selfish agenda.

Soludo is trying but unfortunately he will never become the president of Nigeria but can rule Biafra
Remove the fufu in your brain and come back to comment. You attribute fashola's success to tinubu, but soludo's success can not be attributed to Obi? You dey cry really

These glitzy, fun-parks, lodges, amenities, including rides and water entertainment type development are not what will long term position Nigeria as a significant Tourism Destination. It may work as attraction for Nigerians, which is not a bad thing but it will not specifically attract international visitors to Nigeria.

What attracts majority of Nigerians to West are things not in Nigeria or things not executed properly in Nigeria. The fact that these Western things of interest to Nigerians were indoctrinated into Nigerians from birth due to Nigeria's consumption of Western political, capital and social products and outputs, is a separate argument. Conversely, what attracts Western visitors (in thire capacity as tourists) to foreign nations are things not common in their various Western nations or things that are extraordinarily different to what they have. Some examples are wildlife or extraordinarily different wildlife, especially in scope, scale and verity. Then there are extraordinary landscapes, including beaches, then exotic sex, and finally culture.

Nigeria's strengths are her cultural heritage but unfortunately cultural heritage as some of the areas Nigerians seem most egar to abandon. The northern Nigeria islamic heritage such as mosques, horsemen, Dunbar, and Southern Nigeria's kings, palaces, arts , dances , masquerades, cultural cuisine (foods) are areas that Nigeria needs to develop for international tourism.

If you ask me, this project will be a failure. What usually attracts tourists from around the world to a place like Nigeria can hardly be something pertaining to modern architecture because we are far behind in modern architecture compared to rest of the world. It has to be something closer to nature, you have to think outside the box and find your competitive advantage. If it was difficult to keep Donald's Duke's Tinapa afloat that has some sort of competitive advantage, wonder how this one will keep afloat with what will definitely be only local patronage. Soludo is just wasting Anambra money

I laugh you people in Swahili. What is the standout service that will make someone leave another country to visit fun city. Even Tinapa and obudu cattle ranch that are the biggest tourism investments in Nigeria till date are now in the history books. You people just don't learn or perhaps you are more interested in what percentage you'd gain from the budget

Soludo's Funcity Project Nears completion, As Anambra Gets ready for Tourists

Anambra is expected to become Nigeria's next premier tourist destination, thanks to the ambitious Solution Funcity project spearheaded by Governor Chukwuma Soludo. This groundbreaking development, set to transform the heart of Awka, the state capital, is expected to attract over 5 million tourists from around the world annually.

The Solution Funcity, the brainchild of the Soludo administration, is a comprehensive leisure and entertainment complex that will cater to the diverse needs of visitors.

Awarding Lot 1 contract for the state-of-the-art facility to the young and dynamic Architect Ezenwa Chukwudi, the Executive Director of GSS Construction, is a testament to the governor's unwavering trust and commitment to empowering Anambra's youth and transforming the state into a premier tourist hub. Architect Ezenwa, who is also the Co-founder and Developer of Dubai Estate, Awka, has over time demonstrated exceptional expertise in architectural finesse and development.

"Governor Soludo's vision for Anambra is clear – to transform the state into a thriving hub for tourism, business, and economic growth," said Architect Chukwudi. "The Solution Funcity is a key component of this strategy, as it will provide world-class leisure and entertainment options that will not only attract visitors but also create countless job opportunities for our youth."

The Solution Funcity will boast a wide range of attractions, including a water park, amusement park, family fun center, country club, and a sports park. Located at the Kwata junction, the complex will be easily accessible to residents and visitors alike, ensuring that Ndi Igbo and tourists from across Nigeria and beyond can enjoy the best that Anambra has to offer.

"Governor Soludo understands the importance of providing leisure and recreational options for our people". "For too long, Ndi Igbo have had to travel outside the state, even outside the country, to experience the kind of top-notch leisure facilities that will now be available right here in Anambra, said Chuky Ezenwa"

The Solution Funcity project is a testament to the Soludo administration's commitment to the South-East region's regeneration and the empowerment of Anambra's youth. By entrusting a part of this critical project to a young and talented architect like Ezenwa Chukwudi, the governor has demonstrated his faith in the state's next generation of leaders.

As the construction of the Solution Funcity gains momentum, Anambra is poised to become the new tourism destination of choice in Nigeria, attracting visitors from across the country and beyond. The state's rich cultural heritage, coupled with the world-class leisure and entertainment options offered by the Solution Funcity, are set to redefine the tourism landscape in the region.

ESN, Unknown Gun gun and IPOB go allow people go?

Kudos to the governor on this.
