He could have won against Villa and still lost away against wolves, spurs and Manchester Utd. The EPL is lost over a series of games not one. It's not simple maths.

In December Arsenal had a terrible run before they left for their winter break. Mancity also went on an unbelievable run in the new year and fully deserve to be champions.

But then Arteta is one stubborn irritant who doesn't learn lessons. The same way he lost the title last season was exactly same way he lost it this season. Losing important matches when you're leading the table with serious point difference. When you have important matches to consolidate your position, play your best players. But Arteta will rather gamble with Arsenal's chances by fielding jokers.
