This is commendable.

We must use our movies to sell our culture.

We glamorize money rituals, smoking and women. If you see American movies, they glamorize their police, CIA, FBI, DEA and some superhero. Why can't we do the same? We rather prefer to sell a brother poisoning his brother and chasing the brother's widow from the house.

Finally, these skit makers must be regulated. There was one who threw an artificial snake on someone from the top of a tree.

People can die from shock and heart attack when such things are done.

Find another example use. Are American movies only about cia, fbi etc. What of the highest number of horror movies they produce, many of which are highly disgusting to imagination? What about porn? Even the cia, fbi movies are filled with snitches and betrayers perpatrating evil (some cashing out and escaping the consequences of their evil deeds) .

It's all the same thing. Good and evil abide together on earth for human adventures and encounters, it had been and will always be.

Our movies also show that all those vices being shown are not without severe consequences.

No be our northern brothers they smoke pass....they should enforce their gazette on the street where we have the real smokers. The Minister or whoever does not have outright powers on issues like these. They should have enforced this type of a lawn when Skibii and Olamide sang "Logobenze". Very dark song.

Do you even know how the mind works or have you ever wondered why the western media are manipulating people through media?
Do you think they should ban the same in novels?

Great News menh
Law operates on principle not specifics
Once the principle is established that they can ban content for so called Money ritual
The next thing is defining. RITUAL in law and. GLAMORIZATION e.g is paying tithe ritual if a connection is made between paying tithe and sudden or unexplained wealth
what the hell is glamorization how is that defined?

If they can ban smoking why can't they ban drinking or even telling lies.
They can ban shooting or killing in films
They can ban films showing eating pork,Beating wives, fighting they can ban miniskirts bleaching skin, mass marriage of girls, sagging pants, men plaiting hair
They will have the power to ban any film that casts Fulani herdsmen as bandits
We must still ask what is the underlying principle. Is it morality? islam or what?
Do we share the same morality across Nigeria

When you clap for one thing realise it may come back to bite you wearing different clothes
