At the current pace of theft and corruption, it seems inevitable that a military coup will occur before 2027. If, by some miracle, these corrupt individuals manage to avoid that, it is highly unlikely they will be able to rig the elections successfully in 2027.

Time is fast running out on Nigeria but many people don’t know. They’re still on nairaland fighting tribal wars

In just a few years from now, many will watch their purchasing power drop at the rate at which Tinubu devalued Nigeria’s currency

Even their praise singers here on Nairaland are amazed, and disappointed as they see this staggering amount of money waiting to be devoured. But as usual, they will disappear from this thread, looking for any headlines that has Peter Obi on it. Na there dey will go to masturbate. Check if you see their comments here.

What a shame
What a government
Come to Mowe axis and see china firm distributing current to some companies and churches ... If it rains heavily without wind the light will still be on ... 247 light

And here we are with billions of dollars spent on electricity without anything to show for it

It's a disaster with all the resources we have that can generate electricity for the whole Nigeria and still have in-store

Well like I do say I don't blame the leaders sometimes I blame the blind followers that always praise their ignorant

Even if the FG has everything put in place to provide 24/7 electricity, that will never happen - at least not in the coming few tens years.

Inflation keeps recording higher rates on daily basis, our overall economy is already in shamble state, citizens are retrogressing in terms of purchasing power. So, an average Nigerian CANNOT PAY FOR 24/7 ELECTRICITY, it's the hard truth we must all accept.

Bekermann:
“If we take the issue of financing alone , funding the energy transition requires investments of over $10 billion per year up to 2060.”

VP is just talking because he feeling bored. Nothing else.

Does he know the know the current Electricity demand of Nigeria?

Does he know the percentage increase using a 5-year window for example over the next 60 years like he said?

Have they put in place where baseline generation would be and its source(s)?

I’ve never seen a dumber administration that the current since our return to democracy.

He doesn't even know what other nations spent building theirs. He just pulls figures out of nowhere to mesmerise people with billions
