And you know this because?

More like you should substantiate your baseless rumour. RVP said he wanted to sign for United - he never said he changed his mind.

ok

So Sunderland failed to cap Saturday's string of favourable results, keeping them bottom of the table.
Over to our boys to "do the needful" against Everton tomorrow. With the games against Napoli and City coming up, should AW rest one or two players tomorrow?
Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: Finally Reborn! The Red & White Army: FA CUP Champions 2020 by debosky(m): 10:02pm On Dec 07, 2013
No one should be rested per se - only rotated slightly. Wilshere, Rambo, Ozil and Arteta should start, alongside Giroud. The defence picks itself if Sagna is fit, else Jenks should fit in. The only consideration is whether we start Walcott or not. I think we should if he's recovered from his illness. If he can't start, then naturally Santi will start.

Ozil and Ramsey need some rest . . . . . Wenger should try and rest one tomorrow . . . .

Sagna is not playing tomorrow and neither will he feature against Napoli. So Jenks is fitting right in as the RB.

proudlysports: I doubt it AW will bring Rvp back considering Rvp wanted to stay after we brought in Santi but AW still sold him. Also ManU need Rvp now and won't sell and too much has gone under the bridge. Did you see how he celebrated when he scored against us? Nah, that little boy in him shouldn't change his mind now
I never heard this part of the story pre-, syn-, or post-transfer.
Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: Finally Reborn! The Red & White Army: FA CUP Champions 2020 by KayDee4: 1:26am On Dec 08, 2013
edoyad: We don't need Suarez, what we need is an in box finisher to get us that odd goal once in a while. I'd even go for someone over thirty at the moment.

Giroud has no problem with close-range finishing when he's in the box or with holding up play for midfielders to run beyond him. He lacks when it comes to beating or running at defenders 1 v 1; that's what the super scoundrel striker Suarez is good at and we need him to complement our strike force.

jmaine: Ozil and Ramsey need some rest . . . . . Wenger should try and rest one tomorrow . . . .

Özil really needs to rest, he looked totally exhausted at the final whistle vs Hull. I was surprised Wenger left him on for 90 and took Bendtner off instead.

Are you really concerned about Totteringham ?

I say winning tomorrow is more important than any other. We should play our fullpower midfield. 7 point clear would be HUGE

I hear Sagna isn't available so Jenko to start. Poldi is also back in training but very much doubt if AW would start him in this game though he may see a few minutes at the end depending on how the game goes. Rosicky may be saved for Wednesday's game so we may see the 4 you listed and Santi today.

Kay-Dee:

I never heard this part of the story pre-, syn-, or post-transfer.

There were reports in the papers that he wanted to stay after we brought in Santi and others but AW had already made up his mind. Obviously, I don't have direct quotes from the man himself so up to you to decide if you want to believe the reports.

Kay-Dee:

Are you really concerned about Totteringham ?
Not worried but I'm always interested in them dropping points.

Any details on Sagna's contract? Isn't this his final season?

I've been following Hector Bellerin for a while now and he's on loan at Watford at the moment and doing well. Is AW prepping him as back up to Jenko? or is there a new RB coming in?

I've not seen him play but the way the people talk about him, he should be that good... Plus he's an attack minded fullback

"We are building a stadium, so I will get
young players in early so I do not find
myself exposed on the transfer market
without the money to compete with the
others. I build a team, and we compensate
by creating a style of play, by creating a
culture at the club because the boy comes
in at 16 or 17 and when they go out they
have a supplement of soul, of love for the
club, because they have been educated
together. The people you meet at college
from 16 to 20, often those are the
relationships in life that keep going. That, I
think, will give us strength that other clubs
will not have."
"We do not buy superstars. We make
them."
"We have entertained people who just love
football." - Arsene Wenger
