If there is one thing i know and heard about this fella is that you will get ATTITUDE! sanchez and Coqelin comes to mind here...

Not the silky skill of ozil or the magic technique of cazorla but a player who plays to instruction and stays disciplined on and off the ball.

Finally the scouting team are beginning to look for the calibre of players (relatively unknown but hardworking)that once made arsenal tagged the invincibles.

The commentator during the west-ham match yesterday pointed out that the big teams need to start looking at players that dont come with all the buzz and high prices but give you 100% and are effective at what they do.

I for one was delighted that we got this guy and Nwakali cos they dont have the high profile tag but meeeenn..... Lets just wait and see but im very optimistic that we have two new gems in AFC.

Lool, lot lived up to Expectation. Won FA Cup for us in 2014. Our best player in 2013/2014 season. I'm sure the likes of Gerrard, Lampard are wrong about him being one of the best Cms in the league. Even with Coquelin and Cazorla in the midfield, we felt his absence, we lost to Bayern, Westbrom, almost to Spurs in his absence. Came back to the team, scored 3 goals more than what Cazorla has scored with more starts. I don't even know what Ramsey has to do to please you lots. Came on against Sunderland, he changed the game. What else do you want from Him?

Ramsey was placed there to support Cazorla and Coquelin from the wing. Not cause he is a winger, we need the balance, that is why He drifts in the middle. Go and check all Wenger's past formations, he puts a direct winger and a playmaker in the wings to help the midfield and playmake. Did the same with Pires, Hleb, Nasri. Ramsey gave us his best season from central midfield, and you are telling me he is better as a RWF. I'm sure Lampard and the likes would agree with you yh? We need a solid dm that can compliment Ramsey, Arteta of 2013/2014 did that. Hope elneny will do better. Ramsey is our best CM. SHALOM

It's not all about scoring goals
Ramsey overlaps a lot and exposes the CBs. Flamini ain't that aggressive to cover well for him.
Pairing Coquelin with Ramsey could be better as the former is very agile and aggressive but in the absence of Coquelin It's either Ramsey stays disciplined or move to RWF.

We are talking role play here.

We are not comfortable with Ramsey in the middle.

Even le prof is nervous about let him supervise our play.

Ramsey thinks he is playing a free role. He forgets his primary duty is to defend and keep the shape of the team. He lacks defensive discipline and it is costing us

In Epl this season with the duo highest we conceded was 2 that's what I'm talking about.
I'm not saying he playing box to box is wrong, but he can do that when paired with someone more reliable not with Flamini.

Don't get it twisted, Ramsey is a great player. In a discussion today, I made claim that Ramsey is about the best player in the team when not with the ball. That is, off the ball, Ramsey is the best. His runs, movement, positioning, assists, goals, etc. His goal yesterday comes to mind.

On the ball, he is not bad, but he is below the likes of Ozil and Cazorla.

He is not disciplined enough to protect the defence, now that is not a minus as it is his game. But some occasions require discipline- thanks to Cazorla and Coquelin.

In summary, to get the best of Ramsey, a RWF position fits. From there like you said, he can drift in to midfield to help out and he can also enjoy the luxury of roaming forward, making those beautiful runs and scoring more goals.
