Year-end is here again and as has become traditional on Nairaland, we are opening nomination for this year edition. 2009 and 2010 editions was won by George_D  who will take the crown in 2011?

Rules:
1, Only 2 nomination per user
2, Any nominee that has been banned or warned this year will be disqualified
3, Moderator cannot be nominated in his/her section but may be nominated in other sections
4, Nominee must be active in the Satellite TV Technology section
5, Nominee must be forum rule-abiding and not a trouble-maker(passionate defence of one's opinions is no trouble-making though)
6, Top 3 nominees will be up for poll for another 2 weeks, where the winner will be announced at the expiration of the voting
7, Where there is tie, the mod reserves the right to either choose one or extend the nomination/voting by 24 hours

VOTING starts December 16, 2011 and ends December 30 where the winner will be announced

As earlier said it is of no use nominating greats like George so i go with the point that others should be encouraged by their nomination but not that George and co do not deserve the award.

Now my nominations.

I nominate Gadotor and I Hacked.

I nominate Gadotor because he has been around this year. The guy is open, willing to help no matter how stupid or trivial the question is. He was at one time the one willing to answer questions most people on the forum refused to answer only because in one way or the other they thought it had already been discussed or the question was simply childish.

In a nut shell the guy has been a revelation to newbies this year.

I also nominate I Hacked.

Not because i have benefited from him or his willingness to reveal his discovery to me but the mere fact that his discovery (yet to be ascertained though) turned heads and even to some extent turned people against others. His discovery injected some life into this forum and made some of us sit up. His discovery might not be true but he made the forum believe that anything was possible. I believe most of us here have now decided to explore his theory.

In a nut shell he sparked some life into this forum once again.

I give it to these gentlemen. My take.

There are numerous gurus to be nominated, with due regards to all am nominating Sammu and Gadotor.

George is more dan a winner in dis house we all can atest 2 dat witout a second taught even in years 2cum, His name has been written wit golden pen in d book of history as far as dis forum is concern , So to me i think it will b best if George cum forth n pick who he feels has proven him self worthy of dat position dis year cos he knws betta knwing fully well d tittle belongs 2 him any time any day, We all will nonminate but George decides it all so let him pick among d choosen onces, Thanks
