Water washes your bum better, and it's softer than the softest tissue. So soothing!!

For me personally I do use both, but I feel the toilet roll doesn't do a perfect job

As a true son of my water side ancestors, water, is the best, Our fathers say person wey dey live for waterside no dey take saliva wash hand. Man pikin no fit use paper clean my bottom if water dey available. its the best

@poster, nothing beats soap and water (if available) - 1st choice!

for emergency situations - say whilst travelling for example, having a couple of fragranced wet wipes (2nd choice) can be heavenly. T'is the mid point between having soap 'n water and dry toilet rolls / tissues. 

3rd choice is toilet rolls

and if all fails, get a big plantain leaf from a neighbouring farm, should do the trick (only joking!!)
