If you have a slow and unstable internet connection, and you are looking for a way around this to browse faster then your best shot is the Seamonkey browser. Its a mozilla product but built to load pages faster than firefox. There are ways to load pages faster when using firefox but you will have to tamper with the config file and you can get things wrong. With Seamonkey, just click 2 options are you are done. Google Seamonkey and download.
Then go to Edit > Preferences > Advanced (drop down) > HTTP Networking > Select Enable Pipelining for either direct connection or if you are using a proxy to connect. Hint: if you are using a proxy you can set it at Edit > Preferences > Proxies.

Next step is to enable Link prefetch. Go to Edit > Preferences > Cache > and enable the button Link Prefetching.
Link Prefetching: prefetch web pages when idle, so that links in web pages designed for prefetching can load more quickly.

When your internet connection is abruptly disconnected or its so slow you can't wait any further, just click the icon at the bottom right corner of the browser to disconnect and it loads the website and goes offline. To go back surfing, click the icon again to connect.

Try it out and see the difference.
