In Ecclesiastes 7:1 " , the day of death is better than the day of birth" . please I need great thinkers to give reasons why the great book of wisdom declare this words.

so you just read the bible without thinking through to get answers? what is meditation to you? this is a strong statement that needs to ponder on. So I want us all to think about the statement and share our thought. Hope you understand?

What is life? Life is full of trouble. Life is a battle field. You cannot run away from challenges. Job said" man that is born of a woman is of few days, full of trouble" Job 14:7. Now, tell me, what are we living for? To eat, drink, marry, have chidren, build houses, ride the latest car. what else? You can never be satsified in this world. Even if you are so rich as Bill gate. Money does not give you everything. Money can give you mansions, fame and the rest, but money can not buy peace and sound health. If death knock at your door, you can not give Mr. Death money to bribe him. It is not possible. You see, people do so many things to acquire wealth, they steal,kill, rob, lie, forge, cheat,just to be rich. Then what happen at the end of the day, the money they made, now turn back to bite them like a serpent. So, what is the meaning? VANITY UPON VANITY. Everything is completely useless. Even if you make the money in a righteous way, that does not stop you from encountering problem. That is why the last chapter, the last two verses of the book of Ecclesiastes said: LET US HEAR THE CONCLUSION OF THE WHOLE MATTER: FEAR GOD, AND KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS: FOR THIS IS THE WHOLE DUTY OF MAN. FOR GOD SHALL BRING EVERY WORK INTO JUDGEMENT, WITH EVERY SECRET THING, WHETHER IT BE GOOD, OR WHETHER IT BE EVIL. Anybody, i repeat anybody that neglect so great salvation offered to us by God though our Lord Jesus christ, has come into this world in vain. What shall it profit a man, if he gains the whole world and forfeit his soul? The day of death for those that rejected the great salvation, is the beginning of sorrow, as soon as they die, they have started another phase of punishment, but for those who cherish the great salvation, it is a day of Joy in heaven. The day of birth may be good for everyone, but the day of death is worst for those who despise so great salvation offered to us throgh the precious blood of our Lord Jesus christ. God bless you. The birth of a man brings joy to his household,and brings struggles and challanges to the one in question.
When a child is born,it is celebrated,when a man dies,he is mourned. But the truth is, the death of a man is peaceful to finally settle the struggles of the man.
Its like a worker who works and at the end of the month,he gets paid,he is joyful and he forgets his stressful times at work,but if he did badly during the work days,he shall be troubled on his stand at the end.

Death is the payment of man either in happiness or sufferings,so generalising, death opens doors to enternity which can be proved better than birth.

Because with the exception of those who truly have hope in the salvation from the wrath of GOD through Himself in The Person of our Lord JESUS CHRIST, - "The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away." - Psa 90:10

"Therefore I hated life; because the work that is wrought under the sun is grievous unto me: for all is vanity and vexation of spirit." - Ecc_2:17

Praise GOD for so great a salvation and reconciliation back to HIMSELF.

that verse did not say a good man's death day, its says a man deaths which includes every man. So the date of a man's death( whether he is good or bad) is better than the day of his birth. Let the discourse continue
