first of all igbo people will not support on resource control because the igbos have nothing to control. the igbo people depend on the federal govt. akwa ibom have no oil on land,  so what will akwa ibom be controlling.   do you think fake oil derivation is resource control.  or blowing up of oil pipeline going to kaduna is what they are claim they have oil in bayelsa state,    basically I have said. bayelsa i doubt make 14 billion naira to the govt of nigeria each month.

Oloribiri is a dead oil field.  those people shouting resource control did not see the satellite pictures of Nigeria before shouting.  they assume they have alot of oil. and did not know that  tinubu  and oil marketers were only playing game with them.

One can now see how hypocritic and the worst selfishness in most "nigerians" when it come to self gains/loss. Recently houndreds of innocent citizens have been murdered in their homes, market places and churches by islamic jihadist and apparently the government is aware the godfathers financing them to murder our "fellow country men/women and children", yet no one cares at all to demonstrate and demand the government to bring the so called godfathers to justice, but are quick to come online to spew their ignorance or jump out in the street to demonstrate. Can those organizers not start by demonstrating first to get justice for innocents who were murdered for no other reason than being not muslims?THIS IS NOTHING BUT HYPOCRISY AND SELFISHNESS IN THE HIGHEST ORDER. TUFIAKWA!

Government only wants to sell fuel at international price. It is not the same as subsidy. They are trying to deceive us. Why not pay workers international standard minimum wage.

Exactly, bruv! You would think that Nigerians are immoral types who care little when others die, but weep like they lost a loved one when their pockets are affected.
We have lost a lot of innocent souls, but everyone was too busy to demonstrate and demand justice and equity.

I have asked a number of them why they are not demonstrating for tangible reasons, such as corruption, astronomical salaries in the NASS, true federalism, PIB, accountabilty of state and local govts etc. But none has ever come up with anything that isn't a cheap trade in sentiment; one even boasted that he could run his house on generator non-stop for two years without blinking, while he pays heavy taxes on fuel in the UK where he lives. Perhaps, he is a fuel marketer.

Re: NDYM Backs Jonathan On Subsidy Removal! by noiseless: 2:37pm On Jan 05, 2012
So you mean to say here the igbos are more affected in the jihad attacks so it's their responsibility to protect themselves by not "throwing their weight behind their brother" and start shouting ignorantly the way you and others have been doing since day one, in other words the boko haram attacks is only aimed against igbos right or the aim for their demand to have sharia in nigeria is to attack mostly igbos? Well am i surprised at your reasoning, not at all.

@ Musiwa,

I thought you were an engineer and a map expert, although we know you're MAPthologist  grin grin grin but if there's 100% control, EVERY STATE IN NIGERIA has one natural resource or the other which doesn't necessarily mean oil which includes  Iron, Limestone, Tin,, Lead, Ore Coal, Zinc, have arable lands to rich agriculture, you do the math.
Re: NDYM Backs Jonathan On Subsidy Removal! by sheyguy: 2:46pm On Jan 05, 2012
So why r u complaining when pple who r "affected" by subsidy removal are protesting? Dont u know there are ibo among those protesting? Enh?
Re: NDYM Backs Jonathan On Subsidy Removal! by noiseless: 2:55pm On Jan 05, 2012
look at the chief tribalist  shouting  "tribalist, tribalist" or is that a complaint or what, you have no shame at all do you ever read your obsurd comments on this forum, always exposing your apalling ignorance in every little blowing wind.

Again i ask while it's aparent the government is aware of those who are encouraging or supporting boko haram in one way or the other, does the organizers of the protest value the lives of their "fellow citizens" less than they value money, would it not be seen as selfless if they started ocupying nass building and demand for salary cut against the legisletors, and also demand that the fg must arrest those encouraging boko haram and bring them to justice?
