i didnt want to post here so i dont get high blood pressure but these 2 are ready to die on the court! all hail the 2 best tennis players after Roger Federer!

Any other player should just forget grand slam titles for the next 2 yrs. LETS GO RAFA!

Love that line.

This is will beat the record of Ivan Lendl and Wilander  (4 hours 59 mins - 1988 US Open final) for the record of the longest grand slam final ever.
Vamos Rafa! Great Job from Nadal. But Djokovic has RAfa's medicine

Even as a Rafa fan, i cant discountenance the fact that Roger is the greatest man to ever lift a racket. It is a privilege to say Rafa is his worst nightmare.  grin

Re: Tennis: Australian Open 2012 by Nobody: 2:40pm On Jan 29, 2012
Rafa has to win today man. All those tears for the 6 finals lost last yr has to be avenged this yr. Kai, novak made me dread watching tennis for long periods of last yr. Imagine if he didnt exist, Rafa would be sitting pretty on 14 slams by now.
Re: Tennis: Australian Open 2012 by lazinc(m): 2:41pm On Jan 29, 2012
Nadal will carry the day eventually! I think he has the spirit now
Re: Tennis: Australian Open 2012 by Nobody: 2:42pm On Jan 29, 2012
Rafa's biggest problems:
1. Staying too far from the baseline (defensive play) - which is the opposite for Federer and why he will always be a more dangerous opponent for Novak.
2. Not being aggressive on second serve. See Berdych!

Same thing we did all last yr. Get over it and hope for the better next tournament. If Rafa wins this and the FO alone this yr, i'd say he's had a good tournament. These guys are so good that many forget Rafa has made a good 4 slam finals in a row and still think he is in decline!  shocked

you are right with your defensive observation , but i think Rafas tactics on the 2nd serve is just to take things calmly , then attack at the right time .
