[i]his is the map of Boko haram country

psalmizt , Boko haram is only asking for the North niger region as its country. It is not asking for anything below the river niger and benue. When you look at the 14 state Boko Haram considered to be their state. 90% of them are muslim.

I do not have anything against Islam , and I do not have anything against the creation of a country from this 14 state in the North. My reason is  because they have sharia court already.  People who are against an Islamic country in the North are not been totally sincere since , when you look at it, there are sharia court in the north and this state already have sharia.

I do not support the use of violent by boko haram in the north. But I know why Boko haram is using violent. It is because the members of the national assembly from the north dont represent the interest of northerners at the national assembly. This northerners at the national assembly have computers and are seen the satellite pictures. and have not done anything to protect the right of their people and what is best for their people. This is why Boko haram I think they feel. They dont need politician to make change. That they can use violent to make change.

Boko Haram are only asking for 14 states of Nigeria. And I will tell you this. Most of this 14 states Boko haram is asking. most people there are muslim. Except for Plateau where there are mixed.

Here are the list of representative of the people in the national assembly, you will discovered they are muslim.  Do you see any christian among them No.

Somebody now saying they are against a country for them make me laugh.

Now the people who are against this are mostly southerner who stole money from the federal govt and built houses in abuja. How can any southerner want to claim abuja from northerners.  I do not care if it is Ijaw money, they use to build abuja. Jonathan Goodluck should for God sake give them abuja.

Ijaw people can not continue to make the argue that it is their money they use to build abuja, so they most claim abuja.

look at the list and ask.

You completely missed the point. What boko haram is trying to do is repeat what uthman dan fodio did decades ago which is conquer a particular area and people to submissiom(Jihad) against their will and rule over them.We have not recovered from that violent evolution of our history till todayand here you are calling for another conquest by a deranged set of alqueda affilliates.Do you think the new southern Nigeria which you have carved out is safe having a border with an alqueda neighbour.stop being simplistic

If any of these governors still has a brain inside his upper cavity, he would begin to do something about the foolish almajiri system and other retrogressive practices. It is not enough to declare war on boko rams. They have to embark on an ideological revolution for the good of their people. Boko rams is just the tip of the iceberg. There's more where that came from. What they are doing now is a good start but they shouldn't stop there cos it's like pouring water and fuel into a fire at the same time.

Such as free education up to secondary/vocational school and compulsory enrolment till 18 or end of secondary/vocational studies, whichever is earlier.
Coupled with massive enlightenment campaigns to make their old folks see the wisdom of such programme.
They need to realise that one tree (educated/half-baked oppressor) does not make a forest ( a second/first world society).

But I am almost certain they are too dumb to see their own personal advantage in making all their people educated properly. Just the same way the Association of Conmen in Nigeria (ACN) model governor in Lagos state has removed higher education subsidy by raisng LASU fees from 25,000 to at least 250,000 shocked
And to think that today's South West politicians/elites who claim to be progressives benefitted from free education from Awo's UPN governors plus bursary and scholarships for university.

wen i ws in d north few months bck, there were several statements some of my then neighbours uttered that made me believe that some northern civilians are in full support of boko haram. These dudes got d support of their folks at home. And their siblins and elder states men are the ones that usually conceal them after their operations. D only solution to this damn problem is to divide the damn country. Lets use d space in our national dailies in reporting mtv news instead of som phuckin-mentally-derailled and brain washed dump-ass, es

Even those states dominated by mus u stll have xtians ranging 4rm 20- 30%, but becos they don't show concern regarding politics we seem 2 assume dat states like kano, katsina, zamfara etc have no xtians. The northern muslims are politically charged and dat's y u find them occupying elective positions, not dat they are the majority, they believe in power and they are naturally lazy and depend solely on Govt, xtians just dn't k about politics reason y it seems they are inexistent. These ppl can't remain with us cos they are too sentimental, northern xtians will join us or have their country.

IT IS HIGH TIME WE CALL A SPADE A SPADE, THESE NORTHERN GOVERNORS HAVE BEEN QUIET ALL THIS WHILE THAT BOKO HARAM HAVE BEEN SPILLING THE BLOOD OF THE INNOCENT, HELPLESS SOUTHERNERS. THEY ONLY SAT BACK AND WATCH, OR EVEN SPONSORS THEIR ACTIVITIES. WE TOOK THE NORTHERN'S AS OUR OWN BROTHERS, WE INVESTED IN THEIR LAND FOR YEARS. WE USED OUR OWN MONEY TO DEVELOP THEIR CITIES, BUT AFTER 50 YRS, THEY STILL CALL US INFIDELS, PAGANS. THAT WE ARE NATURALLY SECOND CLASS IN OUR OWN COUNTRY. IF ANYTHING THAT POWER BELONGS TO THEM NATURALLY .
AFTER 52 YRS OF INDEPENDENT AND 98 YRS OF AMALGAMATION, IT IS VERY OBVIOUS THAT NIGERIA IS NOT A VIABLE  NATION ( SORRY), THE ONLY SOLUTION IS TO SPLIT THIS NATION, SO THAT THIS SACRILEGE OF SPILLING THE BLOOD OF THE INNOCENT SOUTHERNERS IS STOPPED.
ADIEU NORTHERN NIGERIA ( AKA BOKO HARAM COUNTRY)!!!!!!!!

Re: Northern Governors Declare War On Boko Haram by Nobody: 4:01am On Jan 29, 2012
TO THE MIDDLE-BELT --- A WAKE UP CALL.

Middle-belters need to rise up and chart a different cause from northwest and north east. The middle-belters should be encouraged to break-out from the york of hausa/fulani domination as this will do them a lot of good and also it will be in the interest of the SE/SS/SW too. This boko haram crises is looking like one of the major catalyst that will lead to the break-up of nigeria. The middle-belt governors forum should come alive to articulate on the way forward for peoples/tribes in the middle-belt.Due to the middle-belt region being vast in size and diverse in ethnicity, there is that likelihood of middle-belt attempts at asserting their political independence from the hausa/fulani being sabotaged from within. Therefore for a start, the people/political representatives/elites and elders of plateau, benue, southern kaduna, taraba should champion the cause .These four states should see themsleves as the core-middle belt states and work on carving out a common political ideology for the middle-belt.States like niger, kwara, kogi should be left out of this middle-belt political awakening for now because they have a high potential/likelihood of sabotaging the middle-belt cause.Once the alliance between the four states mentioned above has become strong enough, any other middle-belt state wishing to join them could be allowed. But first,[plateau, taraba, benue, southern kaduna]should see middle-belt political/ideological independence as their own project and they should not fail in accomplishing it.
These four middle-belt states mentioned above need to give utmost importance to security of their peoples/tribes and protect the right of middle-belt indeginous peoples/tribes to live and their freedom to practice any religion of their choice[personal choice].They need an enforcement arm to handle security matters just like other regions do.A look at nigerias geo-political regions shows that various regions have security/militant groups to protect the people of those regions with the exception of middle-belt[ MB].
SS --- MEND
SE --- MASSOB
SW--- OPC
NE --- Boko Haram
NW--- Boko Haram
MB --- ?
The absence of a security/militant arm to protect the interest of the middle-belt tribes/peoples is the reason why sectarian violence against the middle-belters in Plateau and Benue state has occurred and re--occurred in recent times. It should interest you to know that any acts of religious/sectarian violence instigated by hausa/fulani in middle--belt states ie benue, plateau is actually an act of trespass by boko-haram into another mans territory. You cant hear of OPC trespassing into the SS or MEND tresspassing into SE to cause harvock. But the case of middle-belt is one in which Boko-haram,founded,funded and armed by the political elites and state governments of NW and NE now stray and exert influence outside their zones causing harvock in plateau state and possibly benue state. The middle-belt states need to form, fund and arm their own militant group. All the militant groups mentioned above are being funded by their state governments.
Political re-allignment of the middle-belt is necessary in view of a possible break-up of nigeria.South Sudan, with the aid of america has just broken away from Sudan.America now views islamic fundamentalism/terrorism as its number one threat unlike previously when the perceived threat was communism. This is why rather than america support the north sudanese ruling junta even when the north sudanese/arabs do protect their economic interest, they choose to support South Sudan to gain independence. With South Sudan independence,a line has been drawn on the african map bringing to a halt the well known arab/islamic agenda of speading islam[with force if necessary] through central africa down to southern africa.
The next battle field [arab/islam vs black african/christian ]is already playing itself out in the middle-belt.To the middle-belters,when the line is drawn,on which side of the line do you want to be?Is it above the line---hausa/fulani domination or below the line---independence/freedom?
It is important for the middle-belt to separate/set themselves apart from the hausa/fulani expecially at these trying moments when the west and america seem to be under the impression that nigeria is made up of muslim north and christian south.
Southern Kaduna should intensify efforts to have a state of their own,and the emergent Southern Kaduna state will then be part of middle-belt geo-political zone. The people of southern gombe and southern bauchi should also work towards merging these two areas to form one state which will also be part of the middle-belt.That way.Southern Kaduna and Southern Gombe/Southern Bauchi break away from NW and NE respectively.
At the end of the day,if the middle-belt gets it right, the line will be drawn with most parts of the middle-belt below the line---[freedom from hausa-fulani domination/independence] and any issues with Boko Haram, maitassin, jibwis or whatever name the hausa/fulani terrorist groups will adopt will be left for NW and NE [arewaland] to deal with or dine with.

Interesting thoughts declared above. There is a large christian solidarity playing out between the many ethnic groups especially in Plateau state. Recently Jos has become a place of refuge for many people fleeing Boko Haram in Yobe State, and many Churches and Christian homes have accepted them. The mild-natured character of the people in the MB areas in fore-times was influenced by Christian thought which has prevented vigilante radicalism in the past. We do know that core-northern state governments and religious organizations actually sponsor and fund many radical Muslim youth to leave their own states for Jos and become the ready army whenever there is trouble. Motor-cycle businesses etc., is one of their decoys. I think many minority groups in these areas have been hardened by repeated attacks and have formed informal groups as a response. Which may not be enough as there is no central radical leader to drive issues. The crucial uniting factor between these ethnic groups is Christianity not ethnicity as in the other areas, and this sometimes creates the dilemma about faith and violence, is one defending one's life in the name of human survival or does one's faith have a say here? Which has been thorny in the past.

I will not underestimate how the divine has had a say in Nigerian politics, or destiny. And this is very much tied to the innocent Christian's prayer,

Meanwhile our South Sudan brothers know how to deal with their former northern compatriots in Sudan- shut the oil pipes.

South Sudan oil row: Sudan to release shipments

Landlocked South Sudan currently uses facilities owned by Khartoum to get its oil to market
Sudan says it will release detained crude oil shipments belonging to South Sudan to help end a bitter dispute.
The laden vessels would be allowed to leave Port Sudan as soon as possibile, a Khartoum negotiator said.
The move followed South Sudan's threat to halt production, as talks on the row over oil transit fees broke down.
The newly independent state currently has to use Sudan's infrastructure to export its oil, but halting production would hurt the economies of both.

South Sudan seceded in July 2011, taking with it the lion's share of Sudan's oil - but without agreement on oil transit fees.

The BBC's James Copnall in Khartoum says Sudan needs these oil transit fees to cover the gap in its budget caused by South Sudan's secession.

It has started seizing oil in lieu of the fees.

Three ships carrying 2.2 million barrels of oil have been detained, AFP news agency says.

South Sudan has accused Khartoum of taking oil worth $815m (£518m) in total.

'Stealing'

"President Bashir is ready to make this gesture. Sudan is going to release the vessels detained in Port Sudan," Sayed el Khatib told a news conference in the Ethiopian capital, where talks have been taking place.

Mr Khatib said releasing the ships should open the way for what he called a "cover agreement" between the two countries to be signed - and that Khartoum was ready to do this by the end of Saturday.

There was no immediate reaction from South Sudan.

Late on Friday, South Sudan's lead negotiator, Pagan Amum, said a deal had fallen through because Sudan was "stealing" his country's oil.

He also said the shutdown of South Sudan's oil production would be complete by the end of Saturday.

Oil accounts for an estimated 98% of landlocked South Sudan's budget - but it currently has to use Sudan's pipelines and export terminal to export the oil.

Reuters news agency cited industry sources as saying Sudan had already sold at least one cargo of crude oil seized from South Sudan at a discount of millions of dollars, and was offering more.

Sudan's President Omar al-Bashir and his South Sudanese counterpart, Salva Kiir, have been holding talks in Addis Ababa, brokered by the leaders of Djibouti, Ethiopia, Kenya and Somalia.

Observers say the oil row has created the greatest crisis between the two states since South Sudan became independent, and has stoked fears of a return to war

The bold portion is the right attitude. This is a war situation and self defence is compulsory.
I remember something similar in Kano some years ago. When the southerners/christians returned fire-for-fire, the almajiris had to calm down asking the CP to make everyone with "illegal" weapons to surrender them shocked

we must go back to the old traditional way of gathering information, gathering intelligence by using people.

'And we understand that the security agencies will need extra support that we can give and all of us must become security agents too. And when I say all of us, all Nigerians particularly those who can understand what issues are all about.

If nigeria is a good country, it's responsibility of everybody to safeguard our nation. But in this case where we have countryless nation there is nothing like patriotism.
