We All Started In The Same Place. Same Classrooms. Same Uniforms. by Pojomojo(op): 7:59am On Dec 16, 2025
We all started in the same place.
Same classrooms. Same uniforms.
Same hopes about who we’d grow up to be.

But life took each of us somewhere different.
Some people found direction, others got lost.
Some built stability, others battled storms no one saw.
Some grew into themselves, others are still trying to figure out who they are.

The truth is, none of us became exactly who we thought we’d be.

If anything, it’s a reminder to be gentle with people. We’re all living lives our younger selves could never have understood.

We thought life would arrive fully formed, like a certificate handed to us at the end of school. Instead, it keeps asking questions. It breaks us open, rearranges our plans, and insistsquietly that purpose is not something we find once, but something we grow into, again and again.

Who are you?

If you can answer that question without telling me who your parents are, who you are married to, where you schooled, what your qualifications are and other superficial things, you have found your role to play in the society.

On a playful note, I saw chef three times in your AI picture. People must be hungry. No food, no life cheesy

Facts:
1. You all didn't really start from the same place. While some had their parents together in stable homes, some were living in broken homes and others ophans living with relatives.

2. At least 10% of those people are dead

3. Some of them are happy with nothing, others are heavily burdened even though wealthy.

Addict in front row, na so life be undecided
Re: We All Started In The Same Place. Same Classrooms. Same Uniforms. by Jakarta:
You all can never start from same place being classmates doesn't translates to starting from same place.

Some will close from school, trek home, soak garri, and still go and hawk tomatoes at the market. Others will return to their AC rooms, play PS5, while their parents are begging them to eat fried rice and chicken instead of hot dog, and big holandia yoghurt, they requested.

Life didn't plan for the mass indoctrination of children.

Humans did that.

Life has its own plans and no matter how hard you fight to stay off course, life always wins.

Align with life and win.

Thought provoking.

I had to forcefully eject myself from my secondary school old students association group chat two years ago because a lot was not sitting well.

Nice one Op.

Inaccurate photo, some are dead, some are drug addicts, some are killers, some are struck with illness, some became olosho, some don jaapa and some still dey collect less than 500k salary with a monthly expense of 1 million. This is the unfortunate reality of most Nigerian classmates in a nation that's literally pressing their necks!

20 children cannot play together for 20 years

The wave of life must disperse them to different destination where they germinate and bear different fruits...
