We all started in the same place.
Same classrooms. Same uniforms.
Same hopes about who we’d grow up to be.

But life took each of us somewhere different.
Some people found direction, others got lost.
Some built stability, others battled storms no one saw.
Some grew into themselves, others are still trying to figure out who they are.

The truth is, none of us became exactly who we thought we’d be.

If anything, it’s a reminder to be gentle with people. We’re all living lives our younger selves could never have understood.
You never know what you become until you die!

Some find success in middle age. Some will see failure in middle age.

Some find success early but find see failure later on

Some find success later while some will see failure later after success.

Dis life!

Just yesterday one of my sec school buddy died on route to Jos, he was a Rich kid back in the days, he's money couldn't predict he's TOD.
When you say stuff like this people will say you are just trying to cope but in reality it is the truth. This is not to say we shouldn't aspire to live a good life but it's just a wake up call to everyone that we should all be careful of how we live.

In the end we all die

We thought life would arrive fully formed, like a certificate handed to us at the end of school. Instead, it keeps asking questions. It breaks us open, rearranges our plans, and insistsquietly that purpose is not something we find once, but something we grow into, again and again.

Who are you?

If you can answer that question without telling me who your parents are, who you are married to, where you schooled, what your qualifications are and other superficial things, you have found your role to play in the society.

On a playful note, I saw chef three times in your AI picture. People must be hungry. No food, no life cheesy

Incomplete, there are always some who are late.

Reminds me of the lyrics to the song, 'suburban war's by the Canadian indie rock band, Arcade fire, from their album, 'the suburbs' which won album of the year at the Grammys many years ago.

Part of the lyrics goes this:

Now the music divides us into tribes
You grew your hair
So I grew mine
You said the past won't rest
Until we jump the fence and leave it behind
With my old friends
I can remember when
You cut your hair
I never saw you again
Now the cities we live in
Could be distant stars
And I search for you
In every passing car

I can bet you that 50% of the members of this class wanted to become "Engineers". 30% wanted to become "Medical Doctors", while the remaining 20% wanted to be "Lawyers", But life had other plans for them. 😎

Back in the university, I was the most unserious student in the entire department. Of course, I came from a privileged background. I graduated with a third class an my father forced me to do masters. Two decades down the line, I saw an old classmate who graduated with a 2.1 (Second Class Upper), my guy is a teacher in a private school earning about a 100k or so. If U see his shoe ehnnn, fear of God go catch U. All I could do was thank God.
Life no balance o. Just be grateful where U are.
I lived with a group of friends in school back then. The most successful of them in my opinion today isn't rich, he begs from money me but he has a beautiful home with 4 amazing kids. While most of us are in our 40s, yet to marry or birth.
Just be thankful
God bless.

Labels don't matter; that homeless today will be a billionaire tomorrow, as long as there is life. “ For to him that is joined to all the living there is hope: for a living dog is better than a dead lion.”(Ecclesiastes 9:4). Amen.

Death is not the way brother, everybody will die as God has instructed, is a sure thing, but what every wise man should be thinking about is how to fulfil his God-given purpose on earth before God call him or her. Making the right decisions is one of the things that will help achieve that.

Death is not the way out bro, if you're tired and frustrated about life seek counsel before it's too late. God created each and every one of us for a reason.

Facts:
1. You all didn't really start from the same place. While some had their parents together in stable homes, some were living in broken homes and others ophans living with relatives.

2. At least 10% of those people are dead

3. Some of them are happy with nothing, others are heavily burdened even though wealthy.
Exactly. Some were even born into a less privilege family while some were already made from birth.

You all can never start from same place being classmates doesn't translates to starting from same place.

Some will close from school, trek home, soak garri, and still go and hawk tomatoes at the market. Others will return to their AC rooms, play PS5, while their parents are begging them to eat fried rice and chicken instead of hot dog, and big holandia yoghurt, they requested.
Truetalk my brother. This made me laugh hard. Been kinda sad since late afternoon. Thanks for lifting up my spirits
