They say its d power believed to control events.Bt lookin at d lives of some people in d bible lyk judas, sampson etc,one is forced to ask whether is their destiny to end up d way they did.
If destiny is a power that controlled their lives, then they are not at fault since they are being controlled by a power they have no control over.
And if that is not their destiny, then the popular saying that destiny can be delayed but cannot be denied is false.
And since God is omniscience who knew dat these guys wil not end up well and reach their destination or may even end up in hell, why then did HE creat them.
Just confussed

Goods plan are always good. He has good destinies for his own. But the bad destinees, he didn't put your name there. Several things are involved , there has to be a human cooperation . Smeone has to betray jesus ,but God didn't put judas name there . If Satan had to hunt for and insider to use for Jesus ,judas still had a choice. But Satan used his lust against him. Judas had his pride and list for money.,

Satan looked for his weakness and used against him. Just as he looked for an animal with cunning character in Eden to posess. It was written that an insider had to be used against Christ but judas still had a choice . He had options. His sin was not as bad as Peter. A man of many mistakes. It was just a kiss. But Peter denied Christ. The difference. Peter had a heart to repent , judas could have repented as well . but judas was too proud to face it. He would rather die . He took his own life.

destiny is when you study psychology, you are on your way of creating your own world, but when you study philosophy you are planning to follow your leaders/elders. but when you study the bible you get to know the two at the same time and also its application.

Destiny is the expectation of heaven for your life. Destiny is your divine blueprint. Destiny is what God has written in his book before you were born. It is God's purpose for your life. It is your divine assignment on earth.
For many people, destiny is crying, what i mean is that somebody that is suppose to be a high flyer is now begging for money on the street, to others, God has destined that he will become a medical doctor, now, he is pursuing a degree in microbiology.
A story was told of Apostle Babalola, one day, he came to meet some of his pastors, he started writing in a sheet of paper, after some time,he gave to each person his divine ordain assignment on earth, when they started to open it, some of them discovered that they are suppose to be a bricklayer, carpenter, and the rest. Only two or three were ordained by God to become a Pastor, others were given something different from Pastoral calling.
It is another thing to be called by God as a Pastor,it is another thing to call yourself to this ministry.
It is a wonderful thing to discover your divine assignment on earth, if you do not know it, it is better not to have been born. God bless you. God2man.
