@OP: I genuinely wanna say 'yes' but there is a part of me that is screaming 'no'. Overall, it would depend on the situation but for the most part giving someone a second chance is like giving them an extra bullet for their gun because they missed you the first time. An ex is an ex for a reason. This doesn't apply to all situations but in many cases it does. |

Well, I think second chance is the best option if you are still single. This is because either of the party that initiated the break up must have realized his or her mistake, and I believe it guarantees a successful second coming. . . . On the other hand, venturing into a new relationship wont guarantee a happy ending. . . . Again, as some people have commented, it depends on how much you love that party that initiated the break up. |

advantages/why it may sound rational - the devil you know is better than the one you don't know disadvantages/why it's absolutely unappealing - you may be hurt again. some people are NEVER willing to change. anyway, it all depends on the scenario. if it's a pardonable offence, let go, else, quit! |
