The higher risk includes losing everything, if there are no speculators or investors to sustain the ponzi

Of course
Losing everything is on the table
When it comes to risky investments
That's why I will NEVER TOUCH options trading
Or all these "shorting" that I see some of the chaps in the US stocks thread are doing

Though the returns are mouth watering
The risk of getting wiped out is very alive

YES SIR, LIKE I KEEP SAYING, I KNOW LESS BOUT IT BUT THOSE SHOUTING PONZI EQUALLY KNOW NOTHING BOUT IT
Wait !
Did I read that right?

You know nothing about it?
Or using your words, you know less about it?

Just a friendly question....
Why invest in something you know less about?
I understand you have a high risk appetite
But at least try to understand what you are putting your money Inside

Jokes apart though
Isn't it worrisome that someone is putting money into something he does not understand
At least to an extent?

You see crypto, j dont understand that thing...
Hence my one kobo will not enter there...
I hear of people having over 100% upside in bitcoin
It sounds tempting
But the very fact, that I dont understand all these blockchain thing
Na siddon look I dey for crypto

Digital agric is another one....
I never really understand how agric can be digital
So on that one too, na siddon look
No one should be investing in something you dont have enough grasp in
That's just my opinion
I'm not telling people what to do with their money though

Many travelled with their paper share certificates. And they must dematerialize their paper shares before they can start receiving their dividends online. I don’t think you can dematerialize your shares online.

Have you ever tried to obtain a Letter of Administration? There is no way that can be done online sir. It is not an easy process especially if there is a lot of assets and family members involved. It’s not the kind of thing that is done online. Anyone that claims he’s an online probate services provider that processes Letters of Administration is most likely a yahoo boy waiting to defraud innocent people that have lost their loved ones.

I did my Zenith bank Shares Certificate Dematerilization online with Veritas Registrar....quite easy with your stockbroke....this was about 2010.....all processes were done within 3weeks and my dividends of 10years paid in one day.

It's just being guided by the registrar and the stockbroker.....

You will get your letter of administration within 12 to 24 months.

Always good to get professional advise who can help one with Wealth management, Estate Planning, Wills and Trust Services etc this will eliminate challenges people have with their assets and Investments when they die and will allow smooth transfer to their beneficiaries

A colleague got his late father's Letter of Administration within 6months......

Shifting gears a little bit

I hope we as Nigerians are learning how to conduct elections from the Ghanaians
Elections dont have to be conducted like we are going to war undecided
See how seamless (at least relatively) the elections is going

Very possible....

You just need
-your share certificates number
-confirm with the registrar the adress you used in buying the share
-specimen signature
-documentation with your stockbroker where the share certificate will be dematerilized which include your cscs number, CHN

Within 2 weeks, the number of units and bonuses will be credited into your stockbroking account and you can start trading it if you want to eventure sell the shares self.

All the dividends will be paid into your e-dividend mandate account and continously whenever the company declares dividend

Still ok compared to other naira stocks not based in dollar dividend payments .....as dollar is appreciating, your dividend is appreciating too

Wish to own Seplat and AirtelAfrica stocks one day.....

I'd be glad with 0.5%
Not even 10%
That a longshot
At least in the interim.....
While looking at the Half year statements of accessbank
I looked at brother Wigwe's number of direct and indirect holdings
Then multiplied it later on sha with the NO.25 declared as interim dividend
I almost saw double lol....

But one cannot hate on them, they have paid their dues...
Its left for us coming up to pay ours

I think MTN is okay at it's current price
I'm loading bit by bit on that one
Someone argued with me
Or will I say made a point
That we cannot compare Airtel Africa to MTN Nigeria
But I still feel that MTN is more like it; over airtel

As for Seplat, dont know much about them
