The Nigerian culture itself is one of the most wicked cultures I have come across and trust me, I have lived in different societies and amongst various cultures so I know.

If most Nigerians were not wicked, why do we Nigerians treat the poor including poor children, the widows, the singles of marraigable age, married couples without children etc so badly and with so much disdain? Why do alot of Nigerians dabble into satanic and occultic practices just to ruin another person's life who might or might not have offended them? why do a significant number of Nigerians engage in blood rituals, kidnapping, looting of public funds and then flash their ill gotten wealth for everyone to see?

If most Nigerians were not wicked, why the high level of bribery and corruption in our society? Why the excessive greed and worship of materialism? If Nigerians were not wicked, why the constant stories permeating from Nigeria in regards to r/a/p/e, paedophilia, extreme domestic violence, excessive infidelity and the likes with no severe repercussions for the perpetrator of the act? If Nigerians were not wicked, why do most look away and say nothing when atrocities including abuse are being commited against ordinary people day in, day out, yet are so quick to jump to their pastors' defense should anyone criticize him or her even if said pastor is wrong?

Even abroad, some Nigerians turn their fellow Nigerians in so that they can get deported or loose their jobs. In Nigeria, many Nigerians will worship foreigners especially those with pale skin yet treat their fellow Nigerian citizens with downright contempt. When it comes to helping others, most Nigerians barely help or share their resources, time or talent with the less fortunate and with others. The average Nigerian only loves to take, take, and take some more like leeches but they hardly give except maybe to their immediate family relatives. Yet we wonder why there is so much suffering and lack of peace in the country. Righteousness exalts a nation but sin is a reproach to any people (Proverbs 14:34). As long as Nigerians refuse to turn away from wickedness, total peace and happiness will continue to delude us as a people. Peace, out!
