I doubt that any true cartoon lover will put Tom and Jerry on top of the list. Seriously, I would put Looney Tunes and Animaniacs at per with it.

Bugs Bunny, Elmers Fudd, Daffy Duck, Speedy Gonzalez (The fastest mouse in the whole of Mexico), Coyote (self-acclaimed genius), Tasmanian Devil, Martian are all classic characters. However, the only major Characters everybody knows and think they understand (when only a few of them do) are Tom and Jerry so Kudos to the two guys.

For Disney, Mickey Mouse, Goofy, Donald Duck, Winnie The Pooh and Scroodge are all great characters with great cartoons. The classics like The Little Mermaid, Beauty and The Beast, The Lion King, Pumba and Timone, The Hunchback of Notredame, Sleeping Beauty, Alice in Wonderland, Snow White, The Aladdin Trilogy, The Aristocats are all great cartoons.

I see people already mentioning CGI movies as cartoons, let's stick to animation abeg. Cartoons are too many and as a fan you can't help but love many of them.
