Contractions for me felt like very intense and painful form of Braxton Hicks, combined with painful menstrual cramp.

It was progressive pain. Which means as I continued to dilate, the pain increased. So I started with low pain but pain began to climax at 7 cm dilated.

Contractions are regular, moving closer with dilation. As a FTM you are expected to dilate a cm per hour. But as a second time mum labour tends to progress faster.

With each contraction your abdomen will harden and push forward. Which is why when I was in labour with my daughter, the nurse told me as I walked in to the clinic to tell her when my next contraction hit. When it did, she touched my belly, and immediately escorted me to the ward.

When you start contracting you will know because it's different from BH.

Pain of contractions may be at your abdominal area or your lower back. Mine was the abdomen and felt like my jajaina will burst.

But as we will be having supernatural childbirth now, there is nothing to fear.

Just asked my mum cus she sells. She said Kenwood blender is the best. But if your cash is not enough, you can get Binatone or Philip. She said make sure its the original Philip. The fake is in a long carton, while the original is in a square carton.
