sweetveee:My Lady, I'm in a similar situation as you but mine is only due to my pregnancy been assisted. Tho I'm yet to finally decide as everything is going on so well but Please do what pleases your mind while putting safety in mind too. I'm sure mamas that have gone through cs will come enlighten us. From the little I've been hearing, elective cs is now common and recuperation is not so bad as most people are on their feet by the next day with little or almost no pain at all with smaller and neater scars. 4 Likes |

Giddyperson: Good morning waddling mamas, please I want to solicit for help on behalf of one of us here. She's Foreveryoung1515. I saw her previous post but I was just been careful. After Giddyperson made mentioned of it, I had to do my check also and I discovered she's been around from way back 2015. I knew her moniker then even though I was still TTC, I can confidently say she's very legit and you can please help in any way you can. Every #500, #1,000 etc you can send to her will go a long way pls. I know times ain't so friendly at the moment but I know our act of giving will definitely yield thousands of interest in the end. BA! BA!! BA!!! I want to give God all the glory, adoration and all praises. I was given 10th of this month as EDD but on 3rd my charming prince came after just 30mins of labour. God is indeed a miracle working God. Anyway I will still come back and give the full gist but now am still battling with episiotomy I mean serious one o. My baby weigh 3.5kg and use his cute head to tear my jajaina. No complication, no induction and daddy is happy. Praise the living Jesus!!!! (Drop mic) 51 Likes |

I want to rant o... mothers, do you experience this also? in the next few days I'll be 28weeks in my third trimester I've been having this fear of child birth within me. It's difficult for me to forget about my first experience almost 4years now. actually, my first boy's labour was almost 19hours with a cut. As I'm moving closer and closer hmm... I'm scared of labour pains and especially when the baby's head is coming out of the vagina awww... |

It's no big deal, I chose spinal anesthetic because I wanted to be awake during the procedure. I had to bend and stay still for the injection (this was hard because I was contracting badly), once it went in, within 5-10 mins surgery started, I didn't feel a thing and was laughing with the doctors (they were gisting about how they were going to celebrate after a long successful day of CS procedures). about 20 mins layer, baby came out, cried, and was taken for weighing and cleaning, I was stitched back up, didn't feel a thing. I was told not to raise my head for any reason for 12 hours. The first reaction I remember was shivering which they said was normal. I stayed flat on my back till the next morning (surgery was over around 6pm, started about past 5) when I was forced to start walking around. The pain once the meds wear off is a lot! But I was given meds to take the edge off, walking around periodically also helps. Don't carry anything heavier than your baby, no sweeping, bending, stressing bathing (depending on the type of stitches). Coughing and sneezing should be avoided if possible I was discharged on day 3, within 1 week I was back to myself, driving short distances, stitches came out after 2 weeks and I was 100% Almost 2 years after, tummy is flat, only a small scar around my bikini line, zero pain or effect Will I willingly do it again? Absolutely, I'd rather go ELCS than labour then end up doing emergency CS (which was what happened the first time) Point of this story is to relieve your mind, it's not a big deal and it's better if your doctors have advised this route. The biggest issue is the pain after. Just make sure you're confident in your doctors and trust God to see you through All the best sweetveee: 14 Likes 1 Share |

sweetveee:The doctor knows your history better and perhaps reasons for the miscarriages,if you doubt him, please visit another specialist hospital for second opinion. Elective cs is however better than the emergency ones, because you plan ahead of time and being prepared emotionally and physically, plan it days,you can have enough rest and less visitors,have someone to assist in chores and all,rest well and always take your pain drugs. Light Exercises also help,at the late stages to develop endurance. Please shut your mind from negative people,mother and child alive is the ultimate. I have seen women birth through cs as if it's nothing and some birth vaginally and their lives never remained the same. Each birthing process has its risks, complications and all,just pray God makes whichever way very easy for us. 7 Likes |
