thanks tjskii. during my first pregnancy, i also used pregnacare original without any issues. i think i should just revert to that before over sabi will put me in trouble.

@audrey wheni was on Nigeria i took pregnancare with teh Omega 3 fish oil and that is just fine, no problem with it at all and i would recommend it too others. Now i am taking materna as im back home in Canda for a while and pregnacare is not available here.

@tjski well the biggest thing that pre dispose us to preeclamsia is our race we are black and black femals have a much higher incedence of pre eclamsia. Whe i went to teh hospital a few days ago a nurse of over 30 years told me exactly "with pre eclamsia you black girls present so sevearly" and my periontologist also told me ill get pre eclamsia again because im black. Its our race that is the biggest downfall for us. Really and truely the best we can do is to modify out diet eat less salt, and do routine antenatal and listen to your DR advice please most people dont they will opt for spititual or traditional advice and end up loosing their lives, ive seen it happen so i want women to take a practical approach to this problem and be aware of it in their own pregnancies and also their friends, aquaintances etc.

@imurboss,,thanks a lot. @tjskii,,,God bless you, your advise has not only calmed me but has given me hope and courage,,,, the 17 buckets was just out of frustration, me sef was wondering,,but i kept going back to get more,,,i have asked my LO to forgive me jare cos she sef follow carry water that day. I'll look into the mallam/area women or kids idea but am not really used to someone else doing stuffs for me so it didn't really occur to me at first,,as it is now,,,,i don't have any other choice ahead of me.
My dear, i have informed 2 of our neighbours for the use of their car ,,,just in case our own is still enjoying it's vacation at the mechanics and they were very willing to assist if and when the need arises.I am praying that my sister is posted to Lagos for her NYSE, at least i can have a familiar face around me, that would be really helpful. I just feel so sorry for my hubby,,so sad that i had to let out my anger on him just like that,,,,the guy dey try ohhh,,,over the weekend, i was just moody,,,snapping at him at every opportunity,,,when i finally started crying my heart out,,he just held me and kept on saying sorry, then he prayed for me and seriously i felt soooooooo much better.

I promise i won't let the devil take my joy away again,,,,,,,no matter what may present itself. This baby is coming into this world to join me and her daddy happily,,,it is well.

Others, please take note, learn from my experience,,when that depression or resentment or whatever starts creeping into your heart,,run and talk to someone,,praying it out alone may not help as was my case,,,i kept so much inside of me and it almost destroyed my joy.

As per d sma gold,its for just incase ur breasties don't produce milk ontime,wen I had my 1st,I didn't produce milk for almost 2days and d baby cudnt subsist on only glucose and water,u shuda seen d way d youngman was crying for food,so after 24hours of glucose water,the doc said we shud get him babymilk,I stoped giving him immediately I cud produce milk

U can put on anything u lik,nightgown or pyjamas,wichever makes u cmftbl ,just dt wen ur water breaks u shud put on smthn that can be taken off wtht too much troble,cos d doctor,wil be chekin u to see ow far uv dilated(they actualy stick their full palm into ur vajayjay,my sis after birth,u no go get shame again o,being nudee infront of odas becoms no big deal)

Afteer a normal birth,u cud stay up to 2-3days in d clinic,and yess o I go com do omugwo

Its bn quite interesting to have been part off this gr8 thread....I had my beautiful baby Girl on Sat Morn(23rd) thru a C-Section...it wasn't easy but its Worth it. I give God all the Glory 4 this gr8 privilege of bein a MUM. Entered my 12th week today sef,I only notice a bulging tommy when I eat.HOw are u doing?I am not seeing any discharge on my panties o,is this normal?someone told me I should go and check my progesterone level,that its not normal for me not to get discharge.

Nah notin do u,wth my 1st kid I was having discharge up and down,but with this one, discharge started around 16wks,and it wasn't d mucousy type I experienced during d first preggy,dis one is kinda yogurty,but with lots of fluid,sometimes I feel like a tap has been turned open down there,most of d time I use tissue or those cottonwool like pads to absorb d moisture(sorry if I'm being too graphic)

Then again I'm beginin to wonder if it has smthn to do wth sex,wth my 1st preggy,I was activ sexualy,but wth this one,husby hasn't bin around,and I noticed that wen we do av sex I get d mucousy discharge for bout 2-3days,before reverting bak to d status quo
