I have heard countless times that eating in the dream is demonic and a serious spiritual problem. Even when you cooked the food yourself in the dream. Not that am doubting what the pastors said or their belief, i just get a little confused over how it is really demonic. Some even say it can cause death as the food eaten can be poison!
Please my fellow nairalanders help throw some light on this as i would really like to know the truth about eating in the dream.

Somethings in our world today are kind of hard to explain with insight. I do not find such kind of dream or clue in the world of God but I know God speaks to us through dream and vision.

The best I can tell you for now is, If you are a re-generated Christian, you may be eating in your dream probably because you have not been eating from the word of God. I advice you to start feeding from God's word deeply and see how it goes. Many times, If am about to eat in my dream, I always wake up. Hence, I conclude that something negative is attributed to eating in the dream and kind of see that God is the one waking me up whenever am about to eat in my dream.

Eating in dream depend largely on what happened before, during and after the dream, what i mean is that where do you normally eat? I am not talking about dream now, do you eat anyhow?
Now, in you dream, how did you eat? With whom did you eat? What did you eat?
Of course, you cannot interpret what happened in Revelation 10:10 as demonic , NO,
"And I took the little book out of the angel's hand, and i ate it up; and it was in my mouth sweet as honey: and as soon as i had eaten it, my belly was bitter."
Look again at Act 10:13-14, the interpretation to this trance is not demonic, but it is a revelation on how God would save the gentiles.
However, if you are force fed by a strange personality or you eat food that contains palm oil, regularly, then you need to destroy the caterer, the feeder, the food and the evil dinning table or evil altar assign against you. Drink the spiritual blood of Jesus to cleanse and purge yourself of evil deposits introduced into your life. You can also vomit evil deposits by praying them out of your life.
The story was told of a brother that used to drink palmwine in the dream whenever he was about to attend an interview, and he always failed the interview, it is an evil dedication, thank God for deliverance prayers.
Above all, everything depends on how close we are to God, eating the word of God will make you a spiritual giant. How? Read, memorize, shout, listen, meditate, sing, discuss, paste it on your wall or gate, repeat, whenever you want to forget, go back and hammer it again, let it become part of your life. It is a wonderful spiritual exercise to commit at least 50 verses to memory.
Lastly, a wise man will take any dream seriously and deal with it appropriately.

@ Cynthiaify, I really want to let you know that you truly should be bold and have nothing to fear because as long as you are a child of God, then nothing can harm you, whether in the Spiritual realm or in the physical. You are God's child (that's if you are born again I hope. In the book of 1st Corinthians 2 vs 16 it Paul says 'Don't you realize that all of you together are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God lives in you.So if the Spirit of God lives in your body. It doesn't really matter what you eat in the dream. Sometimes people can find themselves eating in the dream with either friends or family or strange people, however let me make it very clear: One could be fed in the dream with intention of harm, from the occultic world, however here's the major difference if the person is a Christian (child of God)it would have no effect, the person would wake up normally and carry on with their lives as if nothing happened. A person can only suffer harm from eating in the dream when they are not in Christ.

You are right Cynthiaify in what you have stated: pentecostal pastors should focus on preaching the gospel and stop misleading God's people by focusing on issues that are not important. The only reason I had to comment is the fact you made the above highlighted statement. You need to be rooted in the word of God to know what God did and why he did it. God wanted a nation, NOT geo-political one though but he had to first create a geo-polical one and out of such, he created His own nation. Israel is NO more the chosen People of God. It used to be before Christ came. After Christ came, He came to established the true chosen people which are the believers, Christians and the Church of Jesus (Remember the church is not the building). How my people perish for lack of knowledge! Am really stunned when i read pieces in which people openly claim they dont believe in the existence of God. I am a scientist by education and by practice. I have studied science in depth and have reached a conclusion that there is definitely a God responsible for all the existence on earth!
