Does the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 work with Nigeria 3g frequency? I ask because I have one unlocked from AT&T in the United States. Much appreciated.

Most definitely,it will work.I use an unlocked T-Mobile SGH T859 and it works fine.

Thanks, I was a bit worried. Although tmobile and AT&T frequencies are not exactly the same for the tablets; I noticed that they are different per below -
Tmobile : Frequencies and Data Type-GSM: 850/900/1800/1900 MHz; UMTS: 1700/2100, 1900, 850; HSDPA+ 21M, HSUPA 5.76M
Data Speed-GPRS/EDGE/HSPA+
AT&T : Frequencies and Data Type-GSM Quadband-850/900/1800/1900MHz, UMTS Triband,850/1900/2100MHz, LTE Dualband:
Data Speed-EDGE/GPRS/LTE

It looks like the AT&T version does not support HSDPA and is missing the 900MHZ frequency. I hope that's not a deal breaker.

Believe me,it will work.My tablet is 4G enabled but I can only afford to get 3.5G signals.As long as your device has a sim slot,it will work.
