If any of the prospective corp member wanna login into the world of the. Maritime Industry, its always open, but there's a certification for that, and its called (Basic Mandatory Certification) STCW 95 course: This is an orientation certificate that's needed if you wanna work onboard a vessel or an oil rig, And Maritime Academy of Nigeria is on the white list of IMO (International Maritime Organization) so they are certified to issue out this certificate for seafarers or intending seafarers.
These courses normally takes up to 2 weeks or more, so if you are interested you can always visit the school for more information, but don't worry you are not going to undergo military training lol, its a course for outsiders, though some oil companies send their staffs there for certification, but its very expensive, I'm just giving out this info, just incase you may see opportunities and you'll be required to have this type of certificate..
