education in the real sense can be classified into two qualitative nd quantitative. If we want quality education in Nigeria which i very much believe is what we need at the moment then it can not be free.Quantity education that most Nigerians got has not served the best interest of the country nd its vast populace so im very much of the opinion that education from the secondary level should be paid for@ subsidized rate lets say 50/50 govt./parents.It would bring out the best in our wards knowing parents will have to labour to fund thier education.Monies collected should be spent on the development of infrastructures& research in public schools. shikena

Only for the public schools. If the government could provide free education to a college level then, they have achieved something commendable.

Education should be free at all levels to anyone who wishes to learn and improve himself and society. Absolutely!

If an 80-yr old decides he wants to learn something that has always interested him but he was too busy working and providing for his family, being a productive member of society, paying his taxes, passing on his knowledge, or even spending his prime having to fight some stupid war, etc, but he is now ready to fulfill his dream, I support financing that too.

An educated populace is nothing but a a positive thing. Even if the thieving politicians don't see it that way.

Partially free but competitive and reward those who aim to reap more from it from a merit based or positive output perspective.
