We Chelsea fans were happy to keep silent and quietly pray that Havertz comes good cos what we are seeing is nothing short of disaster and worse than RLC and Barkley on their worst day. If you are conversant with football analytics and stats as you mentioned you should know that CBs and DMs because they hardly play forward, risky and line breaking passes their pass accuracy is usually pretty high and around 90+%. So 86% is not usually seen as high when the whole squad is considered.

Also pass accuracy alone does not say much if other parameters like assists, chances created and the area of the pitch from which them passes are made are not taking into consideration. There is a reason why KDB and Bruno have got pass accuracy less than 80%.

You are still missing the point sir. 86% pass accuracy with poverty afflicted numbers in regards to assists, passes in the final third and chances created cannot be compared with lower pass accuracy by KDB and Bruno. KDB and Bruno post low pass accuracy because they play riskier passes, creating more chances and post high number of assists.

Bruno has 6 assist in 18 games, KDB 10 in 15 (I admit this is really high)

But you cant discount Kai 4 assist while playing further behind compared to those 2. Also he's played far lesser minutes; Hence my argument for him to be played as a proper 10 to get the best out of him

I knew he wasn't going to fit in, and just like all our big money transfer flops (Schevchenko, Morata, Bakayoko, Kepa, Drinkwater, Kezman & Mutu), it is only a matter of time before he joins the list.

We are looking for David Silva. He should just show us a glimpse of an AM and we will join the bandwagon train. For now he is looking like a complete disaster and I pray for the sake of my team he proves us wrong .

We are too hasty to disregard players who aren't our favourites and hype make up excuses for the ones we have affection for. Havertz will come good and Mount will increase his attacking output. It is senseless to criticise one at the expense of another they're both good young players with different attributes that complement each other, Mount has that energy and stamina to last long plus his average attacking skillsets and Havertz is a creative player who has eyes for goals and assists though suspect defensively but on form he's a world beater
