He’s tall and hefty but doesn’t really know how to use those to his advantage- apart from bullying opponents in a short foot race. If the ball is fast- as it will be in the EPL- he’s gonna have difficulty with 1. It was no biggie in the serie A since the pace is slower.

Maybe he’s improved his game in that regard though.

About 2, he’s quite direct so you’ll get that from him. Plus he’s very dangerous when he drifts to the right. His crosses from that position (when he pulls back) are accurate and always difficult to defend against.

Messi's departure may help in the short term, with Laporta revealing the club expects to register losses of almost 500 million euros for last season.
