Benz ran 30 yards to.make that header with Jogginghoe jogging. That's called an escort.

If you want to know what should be done in such scenario, ask him why he chased Benz the same 30 yards to slide the ball later in the same first half.

This is the problem, Tuchel likes to think of himself as guardiola when in fact he is not yet there and thus copies him foolishly. Mendy has been making this mistake every now and then, because he tries to pass 9.5 times out of 10times there by making him liable to this kind of silly mistakes, a sensible coach could have mitigated this error if he instructed his goalkeeper to pass 3x in 5 attempt than trying to pass all the 5times. I bet you pep guardiola won't even take such risk with ederson if he was making the same passing mistakes as mendy. Tuchel is just coping guardiola foolishly.

This is the misconception here, all top teams don't task their keepers to pass the ball as many as 9x out of possible 10x even in the face of obvious danger.

This was just few days ago when I agreed with Jode.ra that mendy has terrible passing technique. How the coach could not opt for alternatives rather than this useless passing from the back to further expose mendy's weaknesses is still a mystery to me.
