Liverpool are funny, Southampton are right to demand £50m, it should be at least £50m or more, seeing as Lavia has a 20% sell on clause. If city buy him next summer it would be for £40m buy back clause and they have the player for one whole season who can help them buy to EPL.

Southampton should be demanding £55m or £60m, won't be surprised if that's what they actually want and not all this journalist reports.

If Chelsea offers £40m+ plus £10m achievable add ons Southampton may accept. Add ons are part of sell on clause abi, if not Southampton gain

City can still buy Lavia by matching any bid and winning it, so shouldn't it be something City won't want to match like £55m+ (which makes them pay 9m more than they would in 2024)

Tchouameni went for 100 million, bellingham 100 million ,old man casemiro 70 million with add ons and plenty other expensive transfers. The market is already inflated. The problem was not paying for him as was shown with Enzo but trying not to fall maga to Brighton again after last season, if livarpool had not tried to hijack the move we'll have probably sealed it for 100 million with no add ons. Hopefully we'll not be the next club they try to get at least 100 million from again.

I am not one for excess transfer fees but if you want to make a statement spending extra is a must. Chelsea should match the bid and sell Gallagher, who isn't playing at his best in Chelsea.

Newcastle interested in loaning cucurella, I would loan him so Matseen gets more minutes but Matseen never play LB for us and it may not be good for the lad to play soo many positions in the team.

Matseen is our best utility player, anything to get him to sign a new contract and stay. If cucurella does well on loan we go for sell am pass 40m
