I can see peopLe correcting olawalebab on 'lugo'. Lugo and lago are actually the same thing. I think it is those of us northern Yorubas(Kwara northward) that call it lugo while southern Yorubas call it lago. I know both.

Lago - when u want to shoot or control d ball but misses contact with d ball
Apere- A porous goalkeeper or defender
Kolo-To pass d ball between an opponents' legs

Obi Agu -This was an Ibo term used to hail a player who hv controlled d ball well with d chest

Football Technologies: Ever placed 'felele' ball inside 'health' ball and then inflated it? Mehn, na heavy time bomb ball be dat. Try using the heavy ball for 'rainball' and then 'toe' the ball.

Corner throwing...when d ball goes to the corner side but it has been decided u throw-in the corner instead of kicking it

let's play set...

Then i remembered the rubber ball being alternatively called sagbadiwere i.e, turn an adult to mad man. It's so because when u kick the ball so hard it changes direction and the person running after it have to follow suit in gaining the ball

remi (remnant)goal= a goal made with little effort.
angle 90= when the ball goes through the upper edge of the goal post.
Eki= rough tackle
Any where belle face= kick the ball in any direction, usually outside the pitch.

"Chop grass." Here in benin, it is used to refer to a situation when a player dribbles another to the extend that they falls and begins to crumble on the floor.

U may nt kno ds unless u r v.deep.'Eki bere' meanin rough tackles begins,usually used wen ur opponents are leading n now maintain possesion like barca.An influential member of d losin side will suddenly shout 'oya eki bere'...such game is usually abadoned b4 long,esp when d shinning side hs bn robbed of @least 3good players

Ojoro or Pasha(patiality by referee), tuwo(2-0 victory), Lefree or leflee (referee), kpaking(rough tackle), Keeper(goal keeper),Apere, Basket or Agbonabasket (bad keeper), Baruwa(keeper who allows d ball 2 pass thru his legs),drimble(dribble).
