The game was bad on all levels. Solari made the mistake of using Ceballos as DM when Llorente is fit and didn't even make the bench. I hope he learns. Then for some reason we weren't able to be press-resistant when passing triangles is our specialty and all our players have amazing on-the-ball control. Furthermore for whatever reason Benz and Bale after playing with CR7 for years couldn't beat the offside trap even once.

The template seems to be any team that comes at us will get goals. If we have a sh*t game like today, we'd lose. This was our first team. If we replayed a better pressing team like Liverpool today, this thread would have been a carnival.

We are lucky Barca have been misbehaving in the league as well. If this was last year, the point gap woulda been massive.
