He is worse than an Ostrich.

You loose a Morata, James, Pepe in a single transfer.
You refuse to mix the players lineup but rather change the formation to suite some players.
You refuse to buy players when is as clear as day that the team needs a striker

That is a sign of disinterest in moving forward.

We have a good set of midfielder.
We only lack in the mental capacity role of the coach.
Sadly he still has it but choose not to use it.

Another terrible performance. I always have a bad feeling whenever Marcelo leads the team. What an awful display. But as usual, Zidane will say the team is fine and playing well. No need for new players.

What irks me at times is his ready willingness not to remove Kroos when it was obvious he wasn't covering for Marcelo when Marcelo goes for the attack.

Kroos is getting lethargic and he needs some rest. Same mistake Ancelloti did with James in his second season.

Zidane is now so predictable with his formation and tactics. The element of surprise no longer comes up.

Bale was tired. He just came out of injury. And quite frankly, I'm good with the fact that he left the pitch in good shape and with confidence. Something everyone else in the team is lacking. At least we can hope on him in the next match. He is our bloody lifeline.

Ronaldo should get his sh*t together. Bale was making runs repeatedly, while he was either sitting back (when we already have 4 creative players in the midfield), losing possession cheaply, or firing blanks.

What's interesting tho' is that Zidane changed out creativity to bring in stability (a sound tactical decision) but things got worse. Is it that we need to call for change in the rules to be able to play with 12 men?

It's bewildering. We play okay for one half (more like 30 minutes), then we just switch off in the second. Exactly why I said that even if we had scored in the first half at the Clasico, we could easily have still lost that match, like we could easily have lost this one. A game is 90 minutes, not 45.

Even in the Sevilla game. Score 5 goals in one half, can't make chances in the second. And every team knows this. It's a pattern now...

If there's anything to take away, it's that the attitude is changing.

Zizzou was pissed at the press conference, unlike the poker face he used to put. He was particular about the awful 2nd half. And he took responsibility. And he's not saying we still stand a chance in the league (thank goodness).

Marcelo didn't give that trite he called an opinion when he opined that Madridistas were spoiled and always yearning for a win (like that's a sin when we have the best players in each position). His comment was along the line of things aren't great.

So, the team is moving from a "it's a normal dip" to a "HOLY SH*T, we're f*cked" mentality.

Whether that'd be enough to turn this ship around remains to be seen.
