It depends on the country and so many other factors. Nowadays, unemployment is forcing people to go straight to graduate school after college. It is not up to 28 in the UK, less than 29 in other parts of Europe and around 24-27 in the US. My upper bounds are somewhat too high sef. Most non naijas I know got their MSc at age 24-26. I even know peeps who will earn their PhD degrees at 27-30.

Let him go back to school if he wishes. Education has no age limit, provided he does not want to finish and then start competing for entry level jobs.
