My advice is that you plant a seed before you go, after 5yrs you become a citizen and file for their immigration plus the seed

Since u werent married before you were granted visa,then u had no beneficiary. Getting married before leaving for US is good but i would advice you make a visit or two back to Nigeria before you request for your wife to join you in US in 5years time.Frequent phones calls (or even emails or FB chats)too are needed cos embassy may request for such.Thats my personal opinion.Gudluck
