I need help how do i create port 8000 or 8080 on my laptop am using windows 7. i want to run a live audio stream from my pc using icecast and it require port 8000 or 8080 for others to listen to the stream |

You should be able to specify in the configuration settings/preferences of icecast what port it should use. |

trimwis: its uses port 8000 or 8080so, what is the problem? Just specify 8000 in the settings and start streaming. Icecast will do the rest. Give your audience protocol://your ip address:8000 to tune in to. |
