I will be transiting in London for 10 crazy hours on the way to Atlanta!!! I actually don't need a visa to transit airside (i.e. not passing through the UK immigration but just connecting). I didn't check the itinerary very well. The question is would I be allowed land side (i.e. to enter London without visa) if just just for few hours, knowing fully well that I have a forwarding ticket to Atlanta? I'm with my wife. I could have applied for visa but i only have one week left! Will appreciate any clue. Thanx |

Thanx not a chance without a visa, NONE!!!!!! that would be too easy: get a ticket transiting via the UK, say you want to visit London for a few hrs and vanish into thin air. come on bro! |

Huh  I was of the opinion that one needed an airside visa when transiting any UK airport, no?? |
