Legalising bunkering will allow our people do it openly, rather than doing it behind closed door, and benefit from it. Right now only the priviledjed few are doing it.

You guys still don't get it. The so-called bunkerers are oil thieves. The oil companies pay millions of $$$ for licences and more millions to drill the oil. It's left for them & NNPC to decide who lifts it, indigenous or foreign. It's not some free flowing oil waiting to be scooped. The oil companies seem helpless today because of these thieves. Anybody who wants to lift oil should register a company and bid for contracts. Alami-whatever is a criminal and is only advocating for the impossible on the behalf of his fellow thieves.

So where are the indigenous companies? "Anybody who wants to lift oil(bunkering) should register a company and bid for contracts". Exactly what we've been saying. I just want to believe that by "his fellow thieves", you don't mean the whole tribe.
