I don't know if it's rigth but I do it. When I boil the beef or turkey I intend to use for my broth, I add a little curry to the mix and I use the broth to make my soup. It taste okay.

Curry on its own has a very strong flavour, which u don't want to overpower your soup.

i dont think its right to add curry to soup it changes the original taste of the soup and gives it another taste the real african teste will be lost so i dont think its advicable the smell is awfull in soup expecially the real african delicacies

Please do not add curry to your soup. I tried it once by adding a 1/4 teaspoon to a pot of okra soup, and my husband and son tasted the soup. Needless to say, they knew that something was different about my soup. Take my advice, keep your African cooking purely traditional. Do not try to westernize your cooking.

curry is strictly a no no in soups, it is only gud for seasoning animals like fish, meat etc.
