This man GEJ does not know whats right at this crucial time, there has been no good and effective change in our system yet he can still think of renaming a university that has been for ova 40yrs !!! common man this is not a substancial thing to do after a polytechnic has been named after him !!! The best he can do now is to build a new university and name it after him not create another scene cos this even sound stupid.. Creating a new university will create more admission for students that aspire to study

I think the best would have being to establish a new university in any part of south-west and name it moshod Abiola university instead of changing unilag name

Why is it higher institutions built by former good past leader that most be used to immotilise people nowadays ,why is the present rulers not used Roads,Bridges(2nd onitsha bridge),Stadiums,new towns,landmarks,theatre,hospitals to immotilse b/c the built none.

This year democracy day left a bad memory for unilag student. I cannot stop laughing ever since the change of their school name from d popular UNILAG to MALU university. Schools like UI, UNN, UNIPORT are d next on line. I just imagine UNIMAID being renamed mahammed yusuf university, MAYU to immortalize the leader of boko haram that was killed in 2009. They may sieze fire by so doing
