Bought my Econet Buddy pack for 25k and my Nokia 3310 fone for 22k.
I`m proud to boldly say dat i am still using dat line till date.

My first phone was Sony Ericson Z200, bought it with ma last saving N22,000 and my first SIM(MTN) cost me N14,000(promo prize). Blv me, thats SIM have not lost since then (9years)

It was only my Dad in the house that had a mobile phone then, it cost him N18,000 for Econet (Vmobile) line and about 46k for Nokia 3310.None of us had it then cos he considered it a "Luxury".

I was d first in my Family to own a phone.
Bought a Samsung R220 (blue light) for N13,000 and my V Mobile sim N3000 (although I got N2000 worth of call credit inside). I won't tell you how I got that money.

ERICSSON T10, 2004. 8k. chai that phone resemble Toy/Calculator no be small .. when embarassment too much i went too much i went to replace the body casing from blue to black, maybe d tin go resemble phone for people eye. omo fresh trouble started o. i threw d thing outside a moving vehicle one afternoon when d thing don giv me hell enough. Thank God for 3310 intervention.

By the way, my first line was #7500, ''MTN...your best connection''

Nokia 3510i which I bought December 2004 for 15,000 Naira. The Phone had a colour display. My first SIM card was MTN but I can't remember the price.

That was January 2004 I bought Samsung R220 for #12,500 and MTN (eMpTy N as it's trully is) for #12000. I was always praying to receive calls especially in public and giving out my number to every tom, dick and harry. I had a standby GSM antenna that I fixed down in the village to be used with it anytime school is on vacation and I'll had spend time in the village. Now I detest the line/network. It's only dedicated to family and friends or on net text messages.
