bolubej: House rent in Abuja is quite high. Your budget won't give you a very decent house within Abuja metropolis. Except if your budget is for half a year then its possible to get a room self contained. |

Itanna:like the other mama said, try to burp him in between meals I understand what u are going through because my son was like too between 1 to 3months,he had colic, so most time when he crys I tend to feed him, so as to comfort him, which leads to overfeeding and he will later vomit some of the excess food.i always burp him after each feeds, because if I don't burp him and put him down immediately his food will come out back , sometimes self through the nose which is not good. As soon as he clock 3 month ,he outgrown it, by himself no treatment, he feeds only when is hungry, he does not trow up again ,I don't burp again. he belge himself sometimes .dnt worry ur baby will soon outgrow it. just make sure u burp him regularly |

bolubej:if u want to get a self contain in Abuja it goes in between 300-350 for areas like garki, Jabi, durunmi. but for 120-150 u will get a decent self contained with water and light at outskirts like Maraba, nyanya, jikwoyi, kurudu, pape, kobi village(asokoro extension) ,kurudumawa. e. t. c 2 Likes |

Itanna:I had similar experience last Monday. Whenever, I feed him no matter how many minutes I spent burping, he will still regurgitate through the nose and mouth. But on Monday, it went straight back into his lungs. And he pooped and became still. I ran to the hospital with only pant and a wrapper. After observing him ( he came around before I got to the hospital he was on my chest all through and i was rubbing his back. But struggling to breathe.) for about 45 mins they changed their mind about admitting him and placed him on antibiotics because of the food debris that went to his lungs. And advised that I go to the teaching hospital for professional advice on how to care for such situations. I decided to see my office doctor who is a GP at the teaching hospital. Below are his recommendations: 1. Always burp him after or in between feeding. 2. Always back him to maintain an erect position. 3. When he lies down ensure you raise his head more than his body. 4.Always lie him on the left side in case there is another crises the food will not go back to the lungs because the lungs is on the right side. 5. If the incident reoccur again, pat the baby on the back 3 times. It will send out the debris blocking the windpipe and if there is no response or the baby's hands and feet are Blue run to the hospital. Meanwhile, he checked if the baby is Blue by closing all window and when the room is dark he used a white light. Torch to check if the baby is Blue. He also checked if there is a hole in the roof of his mouth. Finally, he prescribed flagyl instead of the antibiotic prescribed in the hospital. Since then, I have noticed a great improvement. I don't burp for long minutes before he belches. Secondly the rate of his nasal regurgitation has reduced and the croaky sound he makes while breathing is gone. Above all measures PRAY. We shall not cast our young ones in Jesus name. 26 Likes 13 Shares |

Re: NEW BORN BABIES! Are U A New Mum? Then Lets Discuss Babies Here!!!!! by AlphaHandMaiden(f): 11:27am On Mar 02, 2018 |
booqee: Babies tend to swallow a lot of air which forms air bubbles in their stomachs. they also do do this a lot when feeding - not as much when breast feeding especially if they have a good latch, however with bottle fed babies the air intake is much more. That is why you may notice when babies are bottle fed, they tend to burp quicker than when you breast feed them. Some babies show more discomfort with this than others, burping helps relieve this air and also reduces the milk spit-ups as if there are air bubbles the milk feed sits on top of the air. when the air finally come s out it is likely to carry all the milk along with it. if this happens and baby is lying down, it may enter their nose as well and thats not very pleasant! In newborns, this may be compounded by reflux as well, as the muscles keeping the food down are not fully formed therefore burping and keeping baby upright for a bit after food allows the food to settle thereby reducing the occurrences of reflux. by 3 months or so, you will notice a marked imporvement as s/he grows and the throat muscles mature! The most difficult part is when you have to burp at Stupid'O'Clock at night and you are exhausted and half asleep your self! you are tempted to drop baby immediately after feeding. we have all been there, it aint easy! but i will will say try actively for at least 5 mins before you put baby back down to sleep. 2 Likes |

You're doing all the right things, when is the result of the stool sample coming out? This will guide treatment. Ensure he's drinking the ORS very well oh and please take extra care to sterilize everything he uses to eat and watch what he puts in his mouth Sansa143: |
