1.Since on the 9th that I delivered tru CS I have not been able to pass out gas (mess/fart) and I don't kw what else to use cos I have taken peppermint sweet all to no avail. 

2. My breast milk is not coming out at all.

I didnt lick minta or any menthol sweet, I was just taking hot stuff like hot pap, hot tea...at some point sef I told my mum to make hot beans n bring to the hospital so I can eat.
I think I was more concerned about pooping than farting cos I hadn't pooped as at 2 days b4 the surgery and I was dreading dealing with constipation.

Zara self-weaned and it was gradual, so I didnt feel any engorgement or pains...
Me I been still de see small milk if I press my bweast o....very tiny sha, but I haven't checked of late.

Massage with hot water morning and evening. You can as well take PCM if you are feeling pain.

Weaning is a gradual process, you don't just start at once. If baby has been breastfeeding like 5 times in a day, you are to be reducing the number of times gradually till u decided to wean-off finally.

Massaging helps a lot by surpressing the engorgement. When I finally weaned my baby then, I started masaging it with hot water and each time I do that, the milk will be leaking, later I discovered it was only plain water that was coming out whenever I pressed after massaging till the whole stuff dried up.

2. Keep putting your baby to breast, once they clear you to eat take hot pap, and lots of water. Mine came in on the 3rd day

Hmmm, I just used that number as example o. My boy that's almost 3 years still dey put mouth for my bweast. Whenever I'm asleep, he will just come na biting go wake me. he will even be fighting me on top of my own personal properties, sometimes he will tell me to cover it after putting he don put mouth finish. Boys like breast o no be lie.

But that was my method of weaning him sha, we don't even have a particular number of time but I make sure I reduced it gradually ill we reach final lane. In fact, I was still breastfeeding him for like three months when the dad thought we have done with breastfeeding for a long time, I was doing it without his consent. Funny enough, it was as if he knew the dad has told me to stop. At night, he will just pam in one corner and be sucking @ night. Boys are suckers of life.

You can introduce formula . The more a baby eats and poops , the better, as he gets to excrete the high bilirubin that causes jaundice.

Pls keep putting him to the breast also. The milk will come in.

It takes time mine exploded on the fifth day! Move around as gently as you can. It will happen.

Keep putting Kamsi to breast and once you doctor gives you the go ahead to eat, Please take lots of warm fluid, uda pepper soup helped me lactate.

Don't stress it or be anxious your body will respond faster when you are calm.

You can try chewing minty gum like orbit for 30 mins 3 times daily till the fart goes off.

Every hospital with their different ways, I wasn't allowed to eat or drink anything till I farted and it took me 5 days! And you have already been offered tea and pap? Chai i suffer o lolz.

PLEASE DO ASAP!!!! I'm surprised your hospital hasn't suggested formula till now! Food in the system is the surest way to eliminate jaundice faster cos the child will pass out the excess bilirubin thru the faeces.

K, dts d exact sweet. Wen I gave birth via surgery, I do pack d sweet n chew as if it's fd n I started farting to the Glory of God towards evening. Just increase the intake of the sweet n relax. Wen u start to mess, u sef go run for cover.

Lmaoooo... Awon encouragers. Keep encouraging yaselves (in jeniva's voice). V u tried placing cold cabbage on ya breast. Tho, ayaf not tried it before sha. Beht, true true weaning stage is not an easy somtin. Don't worry, jst remain small days, u wee soon cross d bridge.
By the way, congratulations on ur forth coming wedding. Read ur diyari...
