Good morning house, please I need help with this.. my baby’s ears folds over when she lies down and her ears now look folded and even has a line from the too much folding. It’s most especially on her right ear cos she always like to lie on her right side.. please is there a way I can correct this? I’m a ftm and nobody told me to watch out for this, She can’t even lie down without the ears folding, she’s just 4 months old.. plz don’t read and pass!

I experienced same and was worried but what I did was to arrange the ear first before laying his head. Try it. But I'm sure nothing would happen to her ears, some of these things are just normal, sometimes we lie sideways with our ear folded but when we get up it falls back to its normal shape.

Hi, search the thread for colic remedies. Personally I don't subscribe to drugs for colic as it is something that children outgrow and I try to avoid medicating for medication sake. Watch YouTube videos for how to bicycle baby's legs. Supervised tummy time also helps, tummy massages (clockwise fashion) and burping the baby well help.

If your baby is a boy it lasts longer than with girls but it will pass

Re malaria please see a doctor, let them run tests and be sure you have malaria, don't self medicate at this stage

Which " fruits" do you give him? Hope its not bananas

Reduce his milk(diary) ,red meat, bread intake. Give him more of prunes(the processed juice is fine) and fresh oranges.

Yes ma, i give banana a lot, I usually blend it with apple and pear. I do give orange and watermelons too. Thanks ma, I will do as advised

Please stop the bananas, thats the culprit.

Avoid/minimize bread, rice and apple sauce. Avoid bananas

Give him water and oranges. Did you just change his milk? Or introduce anything new?

Keep giving him more water and lots of watermelon, you can make vegetable soup of waterleaf, ugu etc and give him to eat pele sis.

Buy teething ring put it in the fridge to chill then give her to chew on.

What's he been eating? Try orange. Peel it like you peel a tangerine then cut the fingers up in bits and let him chew and swallow. Also change his diet, give him food like beans, oats, yam porridge.

Mine na consumer ooo. The guy hasnt started crawling at 7 months bt is busy churning out teeth. He just grew the 4th teeth 3 incisor and one canine. He eats everything including garri with vegetable soup or okro, infact that is his favorite. If you give him biscuit, he will chew till he finish it.

My major problem now is that he doesn't allow me sleep at night. I sleep max of 2hrs at a stretch while his mates sleep all through the night.
