I didn't say Arsenal has quality players, though they have a few. Wenger believes in youth
rather than experience. It takes years to achieve name recognition in football. So one will
not expect to see $50 Million players in Arsenal's line up. If you give Wenger $50 Million,
he will use it and buy 10 young, promising players instead of buying one big name player.
Sometimes it works for him, sometimes it doesn't.

You have to prove yourself before any team pays big money for you. What happens after you are
paid the big money is a different thing altogether. Torres was playing well for Liverpool

My list above has 13 players from France or French speaking countries. 11 of them are
actually French nationals meaning that France is their country. Some of them like Sagna,
Clichy, Nasir, Henry, Viera even play or played for the French national team. While it is
true that many of them were born in French speaking African countries, they now have French

a club has many groups under it so if the board and the coach are the only groups smiling at the end of every season because they make profits, what happens to the players who are earning less than their counterparts in other clubs? what about the fans who have nothing to be happy about at the end of every season? what about the trophies and medals for future references?

I agree, Emmanuel Eboue and Kolo Toure should be mentioned. But Wiltord, Pires and Anelka
are from so long ago that they are now ancient history. In fact Anelka is more remembered
as a Chelsea rather than Arsenal player. But still it doesn't matter since you will be
