I don't claim the "dual control thingy" does. I only suggested a kind of relationship that may work out. Apparently the most important thing isn't even the marriage, but whether the relationship is characterized by respect. One can go into numerous examples where this worked and some where it didn't. But the apparent truth though is that it can work.
